The hotel is located in the colonial zone of Cartagena. It is an excellent place if you want to visit the main turistic zones of this city without the stress and the dangers of the city centre. The rooms are quite big and nicely decorated. You have both a ventilator or air-conditioning which provide the room with fresh air. You...

The AC leaked onto our bags and ruined our belongings. When we tried to explain to the lady in charge (albeit in English but pointing to the AC unit and showing our wet bags), she claimed to not understand. She didn't come to see the room herself - she sent another member of staff, who fully understood what had happened....

I was reluctant to try this hotel after reading some rather harsh reviews, however, I was glad I did! This place is so beautiful, I thought I was in Tuscany with the atrium, fountains, and al fresco tables. I was so comfortable that it was hard for me to leave! After staying on La Calle Media Luna my first night...

The hotel lobby area is welcoming and with various areas to cool off or just lounge in the hammocks. Location from the central old town is about 20 mins walk. Good breakfast with fruits, cereals and choice of eggs. Friendly staff and some were English speakers. Disappointed as asked for a room on the second floor and the owner said...

WE stayed here for two nights and while the room was cool and the the location was good, no one at the hotel spoke English. One morning we went for coffee at 8 am and they would not make us coffee because all the other guests had already eaten and left. Water in the shower was always cold. The interior...

I was there with husband and toddler for a week and loved it. My daughter couldn't wait to go back to the hotel and see the turtles at the end of the day. Staff is friendly, ones more than others. Ask them for information on the night tour bus. Breakfast is not great but satisfactory; never had a plate added...

The charm of an hotel boutique, and the authenticity of a caribbean house. The staff is great , you feel like home. You can go easily by feet anywhere to most of the attractions in Cartagena, the quarter is central and safe, there is a little swimming pool, ideal when you want to rest after a warm day. Thanks a lot...

Staff are on the whole very friendly. there was one guy in the evening shift who seemed a bit awkward. the kitchen staff and the owner are all very nice. Two things: they dont have hot...

My wife and I stayed here one night. The room was a nice size (especially in comparison with some hotels inside the walled city that cost more) and the staff was very friendly. Our safe wasn't working properly, but they were very quick to figure out the problem and fix it. Breakfast was just fine, air conditioning worked well. The...
