An amazing boutique hotel maintained and renovated based on the Spanish colonial architectural design. Because of this the ceilings in all the restaurant, bar, lounge rooms are over 20 feet high on the ground floor. The pool is located on the inside of the hotel in a wonderful courtyard. Located in the old town (behind the old walls) of Cartagena....

Stay here, you will love it. Expansive feeling even though it is a boutique hotel, and very peaceful even though it is located in a terrifically fun neighborhood. Service was great with 24 hour concierge, friendly, and they will speak with you in English or Spanish if you want to practice.

I stayed here for a 4 day trip with my mother and sister. We had the nicest time--the hotel is all we had hoped it would be-- beautifully designed, well-maintained, cornucopia-level breakfast buffet, within walking distance to all the tourist spots and restaurants around Cartagena old town. Very relaxing & easy trip from NYC. The front-desk and concierge are lovely--...

Once arriving we were greeted with delicious cucumber lemon waters, such a great way to start the trip. We had complimentary espresso and cookies in the library daily. We charted...

The receptionist when we arrived behaved in a bizarre way, spinning around when showing us the hotel, talking a strange mixture of English and Spanish, we felt like it was a clown show. Restaurant is cozy and nice, but you might surprise the staff with any question, expect to wait 10 minutes for coffee and salmon...hmmm...that will cost you 20...
