Great place to stay that is close to all amenities and opposite the parque poblado. Breakfast was good and the room was clean and met all expectations. Good stay and will return in the future. Close to all restaurants and bars, and supermarket…
Great location close to Parque El Poblado and Parque Lleras. Restaurants, pharmacies and bars, at walking distance. Lots of choices for food and fun. Clean rooms, fair space, good clean bathroom, decent breakfast. Front desk always ready to help. Mr. Jaime also serving and helping at lobby. They offer free parking for guest. For the price will go back
The hotel in fact is clean and the service is very good. People are kind. But, at night is very noisy. If you are looking for a resting time this is not the best option. It is located surrounding by night clubs. The noise is very significant. I could not sleep at all.
Had to leave my first choice but because of the noise and ended up here. There is a guest fee which other places I never had. The breakfast was simple and bland. The room size was acceptable but was wasted with the long hallway. The cleaning staff did great work. Also early in the morning a train when by so it was not as you would think. You can do better.
The hotel shows from their electronic form, sent to all new guests, that they are somehow out of proportions according to communicating with their guests, - or it makes you start wondering. You have to spesifikke The time arriving at The hotel, although never been there or knoting anything about distances, traffic, landing etc If getting picked up at the airport, questions keep coming about details of your travel.OK, understandable. Then something is mentioned about having to pay the driver in cash - without furter explanation or specification. Arriving at the hotel, there is no «welcome», smiles or gentility. The case is solely about paying. The driver. Questions from guests are not well received. One has to walk out in this for us unknown place and search for an ATM. Then one is presented for the total bill for the whole stay and asked to prepay the room. One has at that point not even seen the room or, for that sake, been properly presented to one another. Weired. Again questions are not welcome. In this hotel you should prepay any kind of bill and ask no questions. The receptionist together with a person supposedly being the director are not behaving sympathetically. Although getting late, we changed our mind and found another place for our overnight.…
They said I could bring a friend Then when i tried they wouldnt let her In.The receptionist Vallerie was very.mean to me the whole time I was there .When I asked a question she had a smart attitude very sketchy area also
Cold water. Room guest is $40 extra. The night manager is a jerk. I do not recommend it. There are better places to stay. Avoid. Spend an extra more and stay at a luxury place. Very noisy. The Internet connection is poor. Breakfast is the same.
This hotel is fantastic. I cannot say enough about the entire staff. They are always courteous helpful and kind hearted. The facility and its staff are top notch. Jennifer is always professional and goes over and above to ensure your needs are met and your stay is memorable.
Just returned from a 1 week stay in Medellin and after studying the right area of the city we chose the torre poblano hotel, was proved to be an excellent decision, the rooms are very modern and stylish with a fantastic walk in shower that offers a range of jets and sprays and rain shower , the rooms also have a 50inch to and a sofa "waiting" area on each floor ,, was very satisfied and the staff and cleaning lady very pleasant and helpful, very well located just a 2 minute walk to the popular ok lleras area , I'd definitely recommend this well priced affordable hotel, superb views from the breakfast table on the 10th floor!!!
This is a relatively nice hotel in the center of the busy Poblado neighborhood. The hotel appears to be an apartment building that was converted to a hotel. Each room is actually a small apartment, with a kitchen, living room, and dining area. The kitchen isn’t all that functional. There is no toaster, coffee maker, etc. The only useful item is the refrigerator, which is larger than the typical mini-fridge found in most hotel rooms. The bathroom was pretty small. The hotel provides shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. Soap, however, is in the form of a dispenser in the shower that provides watery, foamy, poor quality soap. We had to buy a bar of soap from a nearby drug store. Staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast room on the 10th floor offers a lovely view of the city. Breakfast was average; not much variety from day to day. The big issue is noise. Poblado is a fun, happening neighborhood, with many restaurants, bars and clubs. The bars and clubs play music very loud, late into the night, and it comes through loud and clear into the room. A previous review warned about this, so I asked for a room facing away from the street. I can only imagine what guests in the front-facing rooms had to put up with. Bring Ambien and ear plugs, even on weeknights. Download a white noise app for your smartphone. Mine came in handy, as it helped to drown out the noise. Frustratingly, on the third day (Friday), the hotel allowed a party to occur in their courtyard on Friday afternoon starting at 5 pm. The music and singing was unbearably loud. It was as if the party was taking place right in the hotel room. We were tired after a day of sightseeing, but we had to leave the hotel just to escape the noise; it was too loud to even converse. They said the party would end around 10:00 pm. When we came back at 11:30 p.m., it was still going on. How a hotel could allow this is beyond me. We asked to be moved to another room. They moved us to another room two floors higher, which made very little difference. The location of the hotel can't be beat, but if you're looking for peace and quiet, you'll be disappointed.…
