I stayed at Black Sheep for solo travel to Medellin in early May 2017. I had a wonderful experience! The staff at the front desk were always extremely helpful with booking tours, especially Kelvin. They had free coffee in the mornings and the mains areas and bathrooms were kept pretty clean. Having WiFi throughout the hostel and computers in the...

I booked a twin beds private bathroom room for a friend and I and I don't think we could have found a better option than the Black Sheep hostal! It was the two most restful nights we had in a while. The beds were very comfortable and the room quiet, I would highly recommend this hostal to anyone and this...

Nice hostel, friendly stuff but i got bedbugs in a private room there. they washed all my clothes for free and gave me another room but i got bitten again so badly in the night. thanks for your reviews im sorry for your experience. this is not normal for us and we have thrown out the beds involved, bought new ones and i hope fixed the problem. dont blame hostels or hotels too much for the issue of bed bugs. they are brought by travellers and often one does not know about the problem until...

I stayed in one of the private rooms with en suite shower and satellite TV. It was very clean and comfortable, I was very impressed. There are many bars and restaurants around 15/20 minutes walk away. Also there is a metro stop which can take you into the centre of Medellin. The hostel also organises daily tours which I would...

We enjoyed our stay at black sheep, we had a double room which was huge! 2 double beds a sofa and a big tv, so we really enjoyed having a bit of luxury! The hostel is really clean and we met some cool people here. The neighbourhood is safe and peaceful and you can walk to the bars in around...

Black Sheep is located close to Pablado Train station, the bar area of Medellin and also a huge shopping centre. We stayed in a dorm and private room, both were comfortable and clean. The shared bathrooms downstairs where constantly dirty with wet floors as there was no shower mat and water just went everywhere. They are only cleaned in the...

We booked a private room with bathroom here so I can't really speak for the dorms but definitely the only place we've stayed in 3 months that was more of a hotel than a hostel. Really well finished rooms. TV even had English speaking channels! Well equipped kitchen and nice outdoor area to eat as well as a large kitchen...

We had a private room with an ensuite bathroom which was spacious and the shower hot and strong (although weaker at times when clearly lots of people were showering such as first thing in the morning). Staff are friendly and helpful, communal areas spacious and clean. They have a great outdoor terrace with hammocks which is perfectly placed the catch...

Well run & organized; good kitchen; good neighborhood; activities & tours; competent staff; both inside and outside seating/meeting areas; large TV; computers. I had a private room, not large but certainly sufficient. The only negative was that the sound seemed to amplify off the halls and floors. There were times when I thought it was rather noisy at 1:00 a.m....
