Stayed 3days. Then had to move to another hotel because alameda was fully booked. Felt sort of glad to leave because wifi broke down the last 1.5 days (almost zero connectivity). Hotel had a clumsy feel to it like a shower door that broke off twice and a useless lamp/radio on one side of the bed as they forgot to...

Staying at this place is a good idea if you're looking for a cheap option in Poblado, but only for a short period (2-4 days). The food served here is extremely basic and they don't really have much variety. Service is good overall, but I had an issue with the guy sitting at the reception at night. He would constantly...

My boyfriend and I came to Medellin on vacation and stayed here for a few nights. From the outside it looks like an old run down building but inside it's pretty well taken care of and updated. The rooms are clean & updated yet very small. There's not much space to put anything. The bathroom although very cute & modern,...

We decided to visit Medellin at the last minute, so didn't know much about the area. Hotel Alameda is perfect and we lucked out choosing it. 3 blocks from the metro, across the street from a huge grocery store with every thing from fresh orange juice to car tires, fast food and an ATM. It also includes breakfast with the...

Normally I stay in hostels in Latin America. But when researching places to stay in Medellin, I found that the hostel prices were higher than normal and the vast majority of them were described as party centrals in boisterous neighborhoods. Not my style. I began looking at hotels and was surprised to find that the price of this hotel was...

The hotel is very well located, close to the Metro, close to parque el Poblado and if you are looking to party, parque Lleras is the place to go and it's very close. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, just as you see in the pictures. The only thing I would comment is breakfast, it's...

Hotel is located, close to the metro, close to Parque Lleras, but the rear streets are not really nice. The place does not have any additional service (gym, pool, tours, store). Is a clean place to pass the night, but don't expect much.

Alameda is in el Poblado which is definitely the best place to stay in Medellin. It is very close to the Metro and there is an Exito across the street (a massive supermarket that sells everything under the sun, with fast food options inside and outside). This is great for exploring the city, but the walk up to Parque Lleras...

Do not get depressed by the dull, incomplete exterior of this hotel, located very close to El Problado del metro station as well as very happening 'Zona Rossa" neighbourhood. Very budget friendly, clean and well appointed. Spent six nights here but No complains. Breakfast is good, staffs are friendly and smiling. Rooms are small but decent. After the initial struggle...
