Stayed 2 nights. As soon as my taxi stopped , I was met by staff, who carried even my backpack and offer tea/coffee (wasn’t expecting this from 3 stars hotel). After checking in, he accompanied me to the room. Really pleasent check in experience. Comfortable large bed. Clean. Breakfast is ok, although not much choice. There is tea and coffee 24/7 in reception. Hotel it self in pretty safe neighbourhood. Carrera 70 is 5 min walk - it center of night life. Room didn’t had safebox. The only thing I didn’t liked, that basically there were no windows (I don’t count tiny window going to small inner space of building).

I booked this hotel online thinking of because the rates of the rooms not to expect too much, but i was so wrong.. At arrival late at nigth i was greeted by a nice and helpful gentleman at the front desk , who offered assistant at all levels...room was spacious, nice decoration, good a/c, good shower and big and comfortable bed..next morning i had a buffet breakfast (included) on the 7th floor with a view of the city...what a sight!! Hotel is few blocks to carrera 70th where you find dozens or more of good restaurants and shops, close by metro station and buses.. Thanks to a friend who recommended this hotel and i also will recomend it to mine.. Next time in medellin this will my place to stay..

I was told that the hotel includes free airport shuttle. It does not. Was not easy to communicate with the hotel to arrange for a car service that I had to pay for. The hotel was clean, friendly staff, good breakfast and spoke English well. AC had some problems and the room would get rather warm.

The location is very quite, beautiful hotel in a seven storey building. Coming from bus terminal (South) taxi cost 10.000 peso I book this hotel through booking.com we have a three night stay for 107€ with buffet breakfast included served on the seventh floor A spacious room with two single beds, fridge, cupboard with hangers, television, safe deposit box, bureau desk and a chair, airconditioning and free wifi in the room. We have a room on the second floor in the middle without a window, so we have no lights from outside. The bathroom is small, but is clean, hot water with good shower head. This is the first hotel we have on this trip with a really good shower, a standard European style Buffet breakfast served from 6 to 10 am: Not a big buffet but you have choices from fried eggs, sausage, toast bread, cereal, fresh fruits, coffe/ tea and juices Coffee and water is available all day on the ground floor They have shuttle service to Medellin airport : Jose Maria Cordova cost price 65.000 peso. Coming from the airport, shuttle price cost 70.000 peso. Taxi in Medellin the meter starts at 3200 peso and every 50 meter price jump of 100 peso, so the hotel shuttle would ‘t be much expensive. We use their shuttle to the airport The hotel has restaurant on the last level where breakfast is served. Price of food is reasonable. Otherwise outside opposite the street there is a parrilla restaurant or if you don‘t mind walking a little bit to Calle 70 this street is line up with restaurants and bars Is a nice area to stay in Medellin the Carrera 5 , is a safe neighborhood. This is a resedencial district so we feel safe walking at night. We would coming back to this hotel again in the future

This was a disappointment; the room we were given was small and didn’t have enough space to move around. In addition, there was construction going on next to our room that woke us early in the morning. Also, the fan coil units were noisy as well. Staff is friendly but couldn’t make up for the poor hotel.

We got the worst room in the hotel DON'T ACCEPT ROOM 206. It was next to the hotel air conditioning system, which sounds in your room like a refrigerator x 10. I couldn't sleep at all. We asked to change rooms but they said they were full. Which is a shame and a serious hotel shouldn't rent out a room like that.

If you're coming to the hotel from the airport, it is much cheaper to take a shared taxi cab from the airport. Only if there are four of you will it make financial sense to take a regular taxi. The shared taxis are perfectly safe and organized by the airport at PS16,000 per person. If you want a taxi to yourself, it's PS65,000. The shared taxis take you to a drop off point, where local taxis wait to complete your journey (on the meter) and attendants will help transfer your luggage etc at the drop point. All in all, it cost me PS22,000 to reach the Hotel Suite Comfort. Alas, there's no such scheme for the return, so you will pay PS65,000. The hotel itself is not in the greatest location, but the residential neighbourhood may suit many. It's about a 40 minute walk to the main city centre, but that involves crossing some dangerous roads and walking over bridges not designed for pedestrians. The hotel is in between two stops on the metro, both about a 20 minute walk away. Suramericana station is handy for connecting to the aerial metro Line J and Cisneros is closer to the main city centre, but to get to Cisneros on foot, you will have to cross some awkwardly busy roads. There's not a whole lot to do locally and you will need to walk around a bit to find a decent place to eat. There's a restaurant immediately opposite the property and a Mexican restaurant around the corner, but otherwise, it's pizza, burgers or Subway within striking distance, together with a few beer shops. There's also a supermarket, but that's a bit weird and sells only packaged goods in bulk. The hotel itself is very welcoming, but few of the staff have very good English skills. Check in is easy and helpful and a guide will take you to your room and check everything is working. He'll then expect you to sign off that all is in good order. In my case, it wasn't, so he moved me to another room. Alas, it wasn't until later that I discovered the taps in the basin didn't work and flooded the bathroom floor, something they never fixed in my three day stay, despite assurances it would be sorted. Rooms are basic ( I don't know why the hotel is called 'suites') and many have windows that only look out onto the rear light shaft that houses all the aircon equipment. The light this lets into the room is negligible. The bedding it a bit weird. The mattress and pillows are covered in some sort of plastic, which makes sleeping a bit uncomfortable, despite the linens covering the plastic. Odd. There's a safe, but no hair dryer, no water, no tea, no coffee, no kettle. There is a fridge with expensive drinks (including water) but you can get water, coffee and fruit teas, 24/7 in the lobby. It's just a trek down and back again. There's excellent, free wifi and a flat screen TV but not one channel is in English. Bath towels are kept in the closet, but there are no hand towels of wash cloths at all. The bathroom has a very large walk in shower, with very good water pressure and hot water. Shampoo and soap are both provided, but other than a shower cap, no other amenities. There is a toothbrush and shaving set in the room, but you have to purchase them if you use them. The rooms are noisy with very little sound proofing. All the rooms ending in 01 are next to the wooden stairs and the maid's closet. The foot traffic on the stairs isn't much, but it's noisy, as it the maid in the morning when she arrives (very early) to start filling her buckets etc. Fellow guests aren't exactly helpful either. One of my neighbours took all his phone calls in the corridor, standing right outside my door. Presumably as a courtesy to his room mates, but an extreme discourtesy to everyone else. On the 7th floor is a basic restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch & dinner. Breakfast is included but doesn't offer much. Coffee, tea, juices, water, cut fruits, some drinking yogurt and some hot items, mainly eggs. There is sliced bread, but not toaster. The room service menu sounds fine, but I never ate on site other than breakfast. This is a good option for Medellin if you don't mind being a little out of the way and want basic comfort. It's certainly very reasonably priced. It's not that far from the local city airport, so small commercial jets are low flying directly overhead frequently, adding to the noise.

The hotel is perctly fine for a short stay, specially if you're on a business trip, but I missed the presence of a receptionist who could speak English. The top-floor restaurant has a beautiful view and breakfast is of good quality. Location is good for walking around. Walking distance from Pontificia Universidad Bolivariana.
