Hotel Florida in Carrera 70 in Medellin is small but offers basic value for the price. There were some inconveniences such as very poor English among personel, poor service on requests, hairdryer not working, aircon hardly working, poor lighting in the room and poor ventilation. The breakfast is very basic. The hotel is barely worth the price if you just need a bed for a couple of nights.
I have been many times at the hotel , is clean and locate in a nice area, dont have pool or luxury services but nice services When I was at the madonna concert was the last time at the hotel ,is a nice area close to the metro station ,to the stadium, bars ,restaurant ,good price for rooms ,good breakfast Inever got dinner couse always im out people is realy nice I will be back soon
The hotel was more like a motel...it was old and in terrible shape. The bed was so lumpy and awful and the blanket was so dirty I was scared to go into the bed. The bathroom the hot water did not work on the sink so I had to shave using the shower, and the hair dryer was also broken. At about 11pm a group of kids entered the hotel and were being extremely loud. I called down to ask for the reception to ask them to quiet down a bit as I had work early in the morning and they did nothing. The kids were screaming throughout the night, at best I slept for one hour. I would never go back here even for business!
Location is good just two city blocks from metro station estadio. reasonable rates and the staff was very helpful. I would stay here again on my next trip to Medellin.
