Beautiful hotel. Amazing concierge service. Definitely worth staying here. Value is great. Area is convenient to everything. Thank you to the front desk. Everyone was polite and helpful. When I come back ti Medellin i will stay again
Service at roof top bar was great, and views are stunning - was there at night with Friends. A great spot to see 360 views and orient yourself in the nightlife district of Medellin. Walking distance to many restaurants and bars.
Plusses: great location in the heart of Poblado - easy walk to multiple excellent restaurant options. The staff was mostly very nice and helpful. Nice breakfast. Great views from rooms (some with terraces). Rooms are comfy, if a bit small. Minuses: NOISE! Street noise, pounding music (esp. weekends). Some trashy fellow guests (Americans) who partied until 5am. You'll need an Ambien to get a good night's sleep. A bit pricey for Colombia.
Beautiful hotel nice service great receptionist and Jose Manuel security guard make sure everything is great you could ask him any questions and he’s there to help the food amazing upstairs best chef Walter omg I can’t until I come back I’m coming back straight to this hotel
Great place to stay. Close to everything Lleras Park related. Front Desk Service is awesome with WhatsApp number to help during your stay. Room has wonderful view and was very clean. Rooftop Bar was great and the dining was tasty.
The Haven Hotel is a nice property in the heart of the Poblado neighborhood. The staff was attentive and responsive. However, some of the typical amenities were lacking for even a three star hotel - soap dish at the sink, coffee and tea, bubbles for the jacuzzi. (Well, maybe they are wise to regulate the bubbles). I understand that the hotel was under new management. The hotel does not really offer a restaurant, but they provide a continental breakfast buffet each morning on the top floor, and guests can order light meals for lunch and dinner at the swimming pool's bar. The structure of the hotel only permits one elevator, which requires guests to be patient, very patient. The rates were reasonable enough for my my budget, that I will consider it for a second time.
On paper and on the website, the Haven looks like a great hotel in the heart of an amazing Medellin neighbourhood. Sadly, it's not until you get there, that you experience this pure party hotel with questionable service standards During our four night stay, we experienced water leaks from an upper floor into our suite, literally pouring through the light sockets and down the walls from an upper floor (frying some of our electronic devices), music blasting at 5:30 a.m., obviously underage prostitutes in the lobby and roof top on a nightly basis catering to an unsavoury element--listen, we're from a big city too, and have travelled extensively, in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America -- not much surprises us with the ladies. and gentlemen the night hanging around hotels, but this was something beyond anything that we've seen before, but this was seriously abhorrent. Even our tour guides questioned us about staying there "it's not a place for nice people." To call it luxury is laughable. While a few of the staff were extremely helpful, courteous it doesn't make up for what's wrong with the establishment (they even agreed with that there is an unsavoury aspect to some of the clientele--people need to make a living, right?). I'm giving it a two, solely because of two helpful front-desk staff members and it's location. Oh, and our compensation for two nights of leaks -- one round of drinks at the rooftop bar, completely unacceptable, by any standard even in Latin America. Do yourself a favour and book at the ClickClack down the street.…
I’m from New York and I came here apart of my food tour. And it’s such a welcoming place and vibe. Beautiful views and the music is so good too! I had such a good time with my tour and just such a friendly and wekcoming vibe
Hey this place is amazing. I love the friendliness of the staff. The food is good and the service is good as well. I already been here 3x since and I will continue to come back to my during the duration of my trip.
Staff here was friendly and helpful. Stayed with 2 friends and the room was clean and spacious. Hotel has a lovely rooftop where we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The bathroom in our room had a rain shower with no door so it created A LOT of condensation and moisture all over the bathroom each time one of us showered. We also didn’t have a bath mat. This isn’t a dealbreaker but just something to be aware of. This hotel is in an awesome location. Walkable to tons of restaurants/bars. However because of this it can be very noisy at all hours of the night. We stayed on a Monday and Tuesday and people were singing and yelling outside at all hours. We could also hear everything in the hotel hallway. If you stay here, bring a good sound machine!
