I didn’t know what to expect with a stay at a boutique hotel, but I couldn’t have been more pleased with the Landmark hotel and the staff’s service. We had one small bump - our room wasn’t made when we checked in - but Edwin and Christian were incredibly helpful in getting that resolved quickly and offered dinner while we waited. Throughout our stay they also offered great recommendations on where to eat, go and helped us get there. Aside from the outstanding service, the hotel is also in a great location-safe. Quiet neighborhood with great places to eat and close to public transportation. If I’m back in Medellin, or have friends and family visiting, I’m certainly recommending this hotel.

+ Stylish hotel, decent location, really good gym for a hotel of this type - spotty service in the restaurant, the breakfast is a joke (you’ll almost certainly pay extra, even for a second cup of coffee - and probably wait a really long time for it to arrive)

I read about 1000 reviews before selecting this hotel a couple of months before our trip. They texted me via WhatsApp several times, and it was apparent -- before we even arrived -- that they were on top of their game. This proved to be true: everyone on staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. My family had a loft suite on the sixth (top) floor. I've never stayed in a hotel with an arrangement like this, and it's perfect for a family: kids upstairs (with a separate bathroom) and parents downstairs. The beds are comfortable, pillows same, hot water comes on instantly in the shower, and toiletries better than average. Although we had no problems with noise -- our room faced the hotel courtyard and a quiet pedestrian walkway -- the room was equipped with a white noise machine and earplugs. There are also blackout shades that operate via remote control. The elevator is fast and super quiet. There were always drinks on hand in the lobby -- coffee, tea, and fruit infusions. The adjacent patio is lush and well-landscaped, an idyllic place to sit for a while. A few mornings, we got coffee etc from Smash, the adjoining cafe. We also visited Coraje, the vegan bakery in the walkway, many times, and the wash&fold next to Coraje. The surrounding neighborhood is pleasant, with a number of vegan restaurants both in the immediate vicinity and up the hill. There were grocery stories, drugstores, boutiques, and of course coffee. Everything we needed was an easy walk away. When we wanted to travel to other parts of Medellin, we caught a taxi or (better) Uber, right in front of the Landmark. Landmark is not a luxury hotel, but it had everything we needed and was supremely comfortable and clean (the cleaners were working constantly, and it showed). I book a room without breakfast but there is an Healthy Cafe downstair name "Smash" and it was very tasty. There is also a restaurant & bar for more formal. I chose the option of the hotel rooftop bar were delicious sushi and fresh cocktail are served by the swimming pool with Jacuzzi. You can also enjoy a decent workout at the gym as you got all the gear for: weight and kettlebell , cardio machine (treadmill, bike, rowing machine), cage, bench, ring... There is actually a Hot yoga and spa downstairs near the main entrance. I booked a sport massage and it was fabulous. Access to a free laundry (wash and dry) room. A Tour company on site; "Capture Tour" to book tour of Medellin. The staff are friendly but professional, very helpful and they made me feel at home. And they all are bilingual :-)…

This is a lovely hotel with amazing staff, the reception staff are particularly good going above and beyond. Great location, very comfortable rooms nicely decorated and everything works smoothly. We stayed here twice and would return. Teas coffee available 24/7 from lobby.hHighly recommended

We stayed here for three nights during our stay in Medellin. It is located in El Poblado area but in a relatively quiet area just outside the main concentration of restaurants that are within 3 minutes walk (we particularly recommend Cambria). It is a 12 minute walk from the Metro and a further 15 minutes to the south bus station. The Hotel is lovely. Very friendly and informative reception staff. The room although compact was adequate for our short stay. Comfortable bed, nicely furnished, filtered water on tap, spacious shower (one of the best during our holiday) and good quality toiletries. There is a terrace on the roof with pool and sun loungers, a gym and wellness centre so lots of extra activity available if needed. There is also complementary tea, coffee and water available 24 hours a day in reception. There are two franchised cafes in the building that supply breakfast. We opted for ‘Smash’ that offers fresh fruit to start followed by a hot dish of your choice, plus selection of tea/coffee and a juice that we found to be very good. More food could be ordered if needed at extra cost. A very good and enjoyable stay and we would not hesitate to come back again if in the area. …

The hotel is nice and in a quiet location, which is really good as poblado can be very noisy. The staff was really nice, We had a little problem on the first night and they solved it pretty quickly. Easy to catch the metro from there. Close to nice restaurants (oci.med beeing one of those). The only negative would be that the breakfast is taken in a cafe which doesn't belong to the hotel and there, the service was awfull (a loooong wait to be served...a wrong order...)

We loved our stay at the Landmark. The hole place place is beautiful and the food at the two restaurants is really high quality. I also loved that they let you do your laundry for free. They also have really well priced massages though we never had time to try it out. Can not recommend this place enough!

3 of us stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel was really lovely with 2 coffee shops serving great coffee and snacks. There is also a yoga studio downstairs although this isnt affiliated with the hotel (i dont think!). The vibe is very clean, green and in keeping with the area. I think this is probably one of the best hotels in the area, with most other places being hostels. Small touches really helped - fresh distilled water downstairs and in rooms, free tea and coffee etc. Our room was spacious - over 2 floors, a double bed on each. Bathrooms were a good size and well stocked. Pool was open but there were renovations nearby so didnt use it but the hotel kindly let us know before. Overall, I'd certainly stay here again given the price and size of the room.
