This secluded but very close to the town square (4-6 minute car ride or a 15-20 minute walk), it is very colonial, quiet, and just beautiful. the food is great, the overall customer service is outstanding, but Carlos' level of customer service and dedication is what can be expected only at a 5 star hotel. I stayed there with my...

My only regret is not spending more time here. This is a fantastic little hotel up in the mountains of Santa Elena above Medellin. Beautiful colonial farm house. The rooms are cozy and heated by a fireplace (wood included), and it is a little chilly at night. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. the inner courtyard serves the dining area, and...

I will say this! If you want peace and quiet with an old hacienda charm, then Casa Mosaico is the place for that long getaway in a mountain setting. I'll start with the accommodations. The rooms were charming. The service impeccable and the food- Natural and organic, from Breakfast to lunch and dinner for a finish. The food was tasty...

We stayed at Casa Mosaico on the night of 27 July for our wedding anniversary. We purchased the romantic night package at 335,000 pesos which included a room with balcony, romantic dinner, room set with flowers, wine and chocolate strawberries, breakfast, lunch and 40 minute spa. For that price it is a great deal. The hotel is set apart in...

Pros -- food is excellent, and you have the option to purchase lunch meals and dinner meals. Beautiful quiet location, wifi was good Cons -- TV didn't work, I couldn't figure out how to work the hot water for the shower, door was very hard to open/close, power went out in the morning.

Even though there was a glitch in the booking, the staff was very accommodating and gave us another room. Great place in the nature, wild life and plantations. They also organized some horse riding for us: really really cool. Definitely recommended!

We chose Casa Mosaico because we thought it was close to the airport. That little fact is incorrect--it is not close at all, but it is a winding 30 minute dive to a beautiful, monastery like hotel which is nestled within the hills of Santa Elena. Herman, I believe he is the manager, is a lovely young man who will...

While exploring the area around the Arvi National Park, we drove up a narrow road to the Casa Mosaico. The staff was very generous in showing us around the beautiful, garden-like grounds full of flowers and tropical plants. They even served us aromatic teas at the end of the tours. The rooms are charming and quirky as the owner has...
