The Asbury mashes up Asbury Park's Victorian-era history, rock-n-roll present, and shiny future into a new kind of social hub. The Asbury is your fantasy vacation postcard come to life. Inside The Asbury, a happening lobby will become the action-filled center of the hotel with everything designed for perpetual motion. The front desk and check-in doubles as The Counter, a grab-and-go kitchen where guests can fetch keys, order coffee, or buy something from the retail store. A ground-floor lounge will become Asbury Park's rec room, with ping-pong, pinball machines, board games - and a communal table for travelers who want to feed off the energy and get some work done. A quintet of new venues will make The Asbury a compulsive hangout for guests, locals, and visitors, consisting of Soundbooth, a casual lobby bar, Salvation, our rooftop bar with stunning views of the town and ocean, The Baronet, rooftop garden, theater and concert venue, and Beergarden, featuring authentic food and beer trucks. The hotel also features Asbury Hall & Lawn, a 4,800-square-foot, flexible indoor/outdoor event space unlike any other on the Jersey Shore for either an intimate social gathering or a fun filled company retreat.

The Asbury is a great hotel with lots of culture and entertainment. It was also a very short walk from the boardwalk, restaurants, and the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was lovely.

This hotel values style over substance. Lavish bathrooms are provided at the expense of sparse/ugly living spaces. No carpeting in the room is strange and the furniture is straight out of my college dorm room from 2010. Extremely expensive for no reason as well - parking should not be valet only.

The Asbury Hotel is a great weekend getaway from NYC. We loved the mid-century aesthetics, all of the awesome amenities, and the close proximity to the boardwalk. All of the hotel staff members we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. We would happily stay here again!

This was our first ever trip to New Jersey and thanks to the accommodations and staff at The Asbury it was a home run. On arrival the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful - especial Sean at the front desk. When we arrived in our rooms we were slightly taken aback at the small size but in the end found that it was just right. The bathroom shower is AMAZING. The lobby is a great place to hang out, especially at night with the live bands coming in . We enjoyed socializing with locals and tourists alike in the evening. Super clean, super friendly and like I said a home run. We will be back.

I don't know how you can possibly charge the amount you do for the room I stayed in. A "Deluxe" King room suggests a comfortable king bed, this bed felt like you'd gotten off a fold out sofa. It was springy, and close to the ground, not good for my back injury. The blinds did not block out the light from the street, I was able to see everything in the room clearly even when they were drawn the whole way. I could hear conversations in the hallway clearly, as well as what was going on out in the street even though we were on the top floor. Finally, I was charged a $200 deposit on two different cards - I presented one card and asked the deposit to be charged separately, but this wasn't possible, so I gave another card. I don't know why the deposit was charged on both, and neither charge has been reversed yet.
