If on a budgeting trip in South America, this is the place to go in Santa Marta! All the staff are really nice and helpful, the rooms are small but clean and the air con is good! The breakfast is also very good and we left our backpacks and some valuables there and had no problems..Also very good tour agents in the...

Cheap backpackers only. Private rooms with AC are small, wall plaster peeling and dirty, tiny open bathroom space. Lots of bugs and mosquito's in the room, no netting or places to hang anything. Sketchier area on the outskirts of town. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, a choice of three items. For the price of a private, its...

If you're traveling on a shoestring this a good place to stay in Santa Marta. Nothing fancy but acceptable for the price. We started out in a 4 people dorm, which was quite basic. The toilet/shower was behind two walls with out a door (walls 2m in height - didn't connect with the ceiling), which we found a little too...

I spend 2 nights in a dorm with 6 beds. In the same small dorm you have a toilet and a shower, sounds good, but it's open, if you are lying on the double bed, you can actually see the people taking a shower or sitting on the toilet - the smells and noises will also get out of there...

The dormitorios has only ventilators and no windows, the facilities are overused, it is too hot to get into sleep. The dormitorios costs me 25k per night, I switched to the hotel on the other side of street, for the same price I get single room with AC! No reason to stay here for the next time.

The rooms are poorly ventilated, with the toilet inside the room... People are mostly friendly and respectful during sleeping hours, and since it is a cheap place to stay you can find backpackers from all over. Very friendly staff.

We stayed in a 6-dorm for a night and it was unbelievable. The dorm has it's own bathroom which shared the very only one light with the dorm...that means you have to use the bathroom in the dark unless you want to wake up everybody. And there's no ventilation for both dorm and bathroom which was just terrible.
