Wow.  Another great weekend with the girls. Showboat had outdone themselves since last time I was here. They now have an arcade, Amazing btw, Great TV's, excellent music, dance floor and such a cool bar. We danced our hearts out. So much fun. And the rooms were on point. Clean and smelled amazing. Great views too. Can't wait to go back in late July with Family this time!

No parking garage at the moment which thet did not have posted on the website as I would not have stayed there if I knew I had to park in a crappy run down outdoor lot with torn up pavement and walk more than a block towards the hotel while carrying luggage over all of that crappy pavement while sweating and having direct sun beat down on me in 99° weather. And I'm not going to waste time driving my car to the front entrance to unload everything and then have to tip the bellman for taking my luggage for me, and then go and drive my car again to the lot, and then have to walk all the way back again. Not to mention at that parking lot they charge $15 or $20 & you have to have your car out by 1 pm. So I said screw them and parked at Hard Rock Hotel for only $10 and that garage has no time restrictions on how long you can keep your car there. I could have paid $10 and left my car or there for 10 days if I wanted to. It was further away but worth it to be able to drag my suitcases over a smooth surface and be in the air conditioning while doing so. All I had to do was walk through Hard Rock Hotel, go out to the boardwalk, and go right into Showboat. Called for extra pillows that night for my friend and they claimed they had no more. The couch in the Jr Suite was disgusting and filthy. Won't be staying here ever again. If you're not going to offer your paying customers a parking garage you should at least tell them in advance. And maybe offer cheaper parking charges with no time limit. No other hotel has a time limit the way you do. And they actually have a parking garage. This hotel used to be much nicer before it closed down and reopened.

So my family & I decided to stay at the showboat for the night. Thank God it was just for the night. the service was horrible. the front desk staff was rude and not helpful at all. housekeeping had no washcloths, we were told if we wanted any more toilet tissue we would have to come to the front desk to pick it up. Really???? the toilet wasn't working the maintenance staff had to come up a couple times to fix the dam toilet. I'll stay any place else... but I don't recommend you stay here.

Hi so I came in & checked in & when I got to my room we were out of Wash Clothes, we asked the lady if she has any and she didn’t understand what we were talking about. We called front desk which was okay. The shower head does not I repeat does not have water pressure at all like I paid damn near $230 for a night just to get poor quality.

The room was so filthy we found male body fluids on the side quilt and the floor, burn mark on the floor and the room smelled of smoke. Oh and 2 TVs because they were too lazy to take down the old one. When we told front desk, they switched our room but we were late for and event that was hosted by the hotel. They told us we can leave are stuff there and we can switch it later. After the event we went back to the room to find out it was rented to someone else. We didn't know where our stuff was. Apparently housekeeping cleaned the room and removed all of our stuff. When we asked for our stuff it took them over an hour to locate our items, one at a time, eventually we noticed 2 items missing, worth $400, that they said was thrown away. We never saw security, we never got to confront housekeeping, they wouldn't go to the room to the check. And they had the audacity to still charge me for the night. We left obviously. Report was filed and we are going to put in a claim. Wait the best part... we have to wait for the person that does the claim to put in a claim. Worst experience I've ever had.
