I agree with some reviewers that the fixtures in the rooms were definitely dated but otherwise, they were clean and tidy and did not impede on our much needed rest. The front desk was very busy during check-in but the staff managed the crowd efficiently and in a friendly manner. Even the housekeeper wished us a good day during our departure. I enjoyed seeing the Miss America memorabilia in the lobby and the hotel's proximity to the outlets and the boardwalk added to the enjoyment of our trip.
I give this hotel 4 stars mainly for the staff and my experience with their customer service. The hotel is in perfect location to the convention center but is in need of some upgrades. My son was playing basketball at the convention center so we were there for 3 nights. My stay was not without issues but the Night Staff Tammie and Security Sean (spelling), and the day Manager helped make my stay wonderful. Sean went above and beyond to keep me laughing during a very frustrating night at the hotel and helped me move my and my families items to the another room. I really appreciated his time, care, and concern for ensuring everything was perfect before he left and went back to his duty. At a time where customer service is lacking in many industries it was really nice to see that Tammie and Sean were still upholding the Marriott Standards. Sheraton is lucky to have them. I hope by the time I come back they have received the renovations they deserve because I would love to stay again. The breakfast buffet was a nice touch and it was complimentary depending on your elite status. The parking is accross the street at the convention center, if you do self parking, so make sure you drop your bags at the hotel upon check in, and then park your car. The restaurant attached, Tun Tavern, is mediocre. We really didn't enjoy the items we order. Not sure if that has anything to do with the Sheraton or not.…
I was charged a $50 fee for my service animal after I advised the front desk that my pet was trained for a disability. I shared the ADA's website on service animals and specifically directed them to the Q & A section that pertained to my disability. They stated that my service dog was considered and emotional support animal and as such, the fee still applied. Extremely disappointed in Sheraton and will not be returning for this reason.
HORRIBLE Experience! I’ve been a Sheraton/Bonvoy member for over 20 years. I booked a club room because it offers breakfast, snacks, other amenities that we enjoy. First the room, which your paying a premium for any was dirty, the ceiling was a filthy yellow. The front entrance to the hotels revolving doors looked like a car smashed through it. There was no breakfast I found out, but a voucher to use at the Starbuin the lobby where all you. An get is a muffin. Normally not a big deal but this should have been noted ahead of time on the website. I wouldn’t have booked the room then knowing this. Never once was I greeted as a loyal member, as I have in all other Bonvoy hotels. Staff just doesn’t care. The fact that management has let this hotel turn into such a delapated state is mind boggling. Im actually think of going back to my credit card company and withhold payment because they didn’t deliver on anything that was promised. My advice, stay in one of the casino hotels. You’ll have a better experience. And as for this place, the only improvement would be a wrecking ball. Demolish and start over.…
Excellent stay! Brief visit to AC. Hotel is adjacent to train station/ convention center and outlet shops. Also a short walk through outlet street to beach/ boardwalk and casino resorts. Bonvoy Platinum membership recognized, club level was very nice, plus gift shop, cafe and restaurants all onsite. Clean room and comfy Sheraton bed. Will definitely return the next time I’m in AC!
We had a great experience. We were very appreciative to get in the room early too, as we were working the Rock n Roll Race EXPO across the street at the convention center. Self Parking was very easy. I got the park n stay package. And the garage was always under supervision by security so I felt safe leaving it there. Except for a few hiccups when we got to the room (which they took care IMMEDIATELY) , we had a great stay. Beds were comfy, and it was quiet !! We will be back!!
Sheraton hotel in Atlantic City is not a place for family vacation. Parking was very inconvenient especially with a 9 month old baby. Front of the hotel guests are smocking cigarettes and weed 24/7 you can even smell it from the lobby. We booked the Suite it was decent but very out dated and the queen bed was extremely small. After the first night we left the hotel because next morning we saw hundreds of Ants crawling around our room. Overall, it was an awful experience :(
for a non-smoking hotel, the first room i was sent to was so heavily smoked in that they used perfume to cover it up. The second room had a dying tv with "rain" coming down the pixels. The third and final room had the light out in the bathroom. Wouldn't housekeeping notice? I would stay again. It's not ready for guests, however. Much like the city that closes down at 6 pm. the gift shop was only open from 6 am until noon.
This is a OK place. Employees are nice, spacious... Needs some updating for sure. Love all of the pictures from the Pagent. Lots of Nostalgia. Even the bartenders have been there for years. The breakfest was horrible. It's hard to have a bad breakfest, but is really Bad. We were a party of 4 and we all agreed that is was the worst ever!
The hotel is perfect for proximity to convention center and staff was great. That being said, it is in dire need of an update. The furniture, carpet and fixtures look like they haven't been updated in 20 years. Our first room had a faucet issue and pipes banging in wall when shower was on. I asked for a new room and was given multiple new room options by the desk manager. She also extended our checkout by 2 hours the following day. She made the difference in taking care of issues beyond her control. Great service.
