Detailed Reviews
This has been our go-to hotel for the last few years when we take a long weekend in Atlantic City. We choose this hotel because I like the location to the outlets and we are Bonvoy members. Our rooms have always been clean and comfortable. Unlike other hotels I've stayed in over the last year and a half this hotel has housekeeping everyday. There aren't excuses of being short-staffed like other hotels. You will get your room cleaned every day. I also like that they replenish the toiletries unlike at other places where you only get something on the first day, if you get anything at all.
Like other reviews are stating, the hotel is very outdated. Our room needed renovating but I don't think it was dirty. It was comfortable and met our needs. If you're looking for a bougie, trendy, high class hotel you should probably check out some of the boardwalk hotels.
My one pet peeve is when tip envelopes are left in the room. We're already paying so much money to stay at the hotel and while I appreciate all the hard work of the hotel staff, I think that leaving a tip envelope in the room is tacky and obnoxious. It is not the responsibility of the customer to pay the hotel staff. Here's a thought... Stop having those envelopes printed and use the money to pay your staff better. This culture for begging for tips from customers has gotten out of hand so this especially hits a nerve.
Other than that we don't have problems with this hotel and we will most likely stay there again next time we come back to Atlantic City.

Our room on the 16th floor was a real PAIN !
The Concierge Lounge was laughable. The printer for boarding passes was not working, so we had to go downstairs for that. Neither ICE MACHINE on Floor 16 or 15 worked. God bless Adam at the bar on level 2. We had to see Adam 5 nights in a row for ice bucket fills. I put $2.00 in a soda machine on floor 16 and was told the beverage was sold out. My refund was 7 quarters. There was something new each night to be pissed off about.
The reservation phone person never got my email correct.

It was ok. Nice break from the boardwalk area with a nice view. Parking was a pain across the street and through the convention center for $20 (but it was well lit and staffed at night). Hotel staff was great. Lobby is nice. Pool was closed. The rooms were dated and kind of dingy, definitely in need of a refresh. The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. On the surface looked ok but the. We saw hair in tub and the corner of the bathroom. The rug was clearly not vacuumed since I found a toenail (GROSS). The walls and rugs have stains. The chair had what looked like a food stain that I used a wipe to clean myself. There is no makeup mirror and the lighting in the bathroom in insufficient, and mirror too far away to apply makeup. Water pump made a weird noise. The curtain had stains all over it. Bed was comfortable and sheets clean although the pillowcase had a rip in it. Outside windows were very dirty to the point of looking hazy. Housekeeping began knocking on our door at 9:30. We were sleeping and didn’t hear it and they attempted to come in. They came back at 10:30 even though checkout is at noon- came to find our that someone mistakenly checked our room out early. Maybe I need to rethink my expectations of cleanliness and what we get for our money now, because it seems the entire industry has changed. Less amenities and cleaning for more money seems to be the new theme.

First off I am a Titanium member and as such I stay in hotels a lot and come to know what to expect from them. This hotel failed miserably at that. First I was greeted by an angry person at the door whom demanded that at 10pm when I arrived that I park my car at the end of their driveway to offload all of my bags and passengers not near the doors. I had two very elderly women and a 4 year old with me. I then had to leave them and my luggage at the end of the long driveway in the dark while I had to go park my car in the garage and walk back since they have no vallet service due to covid. I then had to argue with this same person to get a dolly for all of our bags at the end of the driveway in the dark where the elderly are being made to stand watch over them because I didn't have a room number yet. I finally get one and he gives me 10 minutes to return it to him, are you serious I still had to wait in line to check in. When I did check in my status was not even recognized by the front desk staff.
The lobby has potential, its not horrible but a bit dated. I am informed the Club Lounge is open and I have access to it but there is nothing but coffee and snacks. Apparently according to the front desk they have not actually served real food there in over 5 years. Oh and as a Marriott policy they no longer give out bottles of water but they also have the water in the lounge turned off for guests.
Finally to the rooms. The apparently upgraded to a "Wellness" room. The room has a loud filter in it and that seems to warrant an upgrade. These rooms are old and dated looking with peeling wallpaper, stained carpets and just an all around dirty appearance. If this was an upgrade I would hate to see what an average room looks like. As for cleaning I wouldn't know. One night they didn't bother to even clean my room. When I called down to complain they sent up a girl whom gave us fresh towels and promptly left. The second day they kind of made our beds and gave fresh towels. There was no other apparent cleaning or refreshing of the room. No refilled coffee or tea, nothing. I doubt they were in there even 5 minutes. We had two rooms and it was the same for both. The hallways and my room also smelled of Marijuana smoke pretty much 24/7 and the hotel is loud from other guests and undesirable people till 4am. The security guy downstairs near the elevator never checks for room keys he just sits there and ignored everyone.
This hotel does not meet the Sheraton standard and needs to be closed down and completely remodeled or renamed The Red Roof Inn. Much of the staff needs to be retrained or outright fired. I will not stay here again. Yes this was a Rewards Points stay but it was not worth the couple hundred thousand points I wasted on it at all!

I booked this hotel for someone...I called many of the numbers listed on the web but could never get to a Sheraton person....always an outside company. Despite seeing availability on the web each time I tried to get it, the room was magically no longer available since "the website is not up to date". Really? But more expensive room was. Then there was a surprise/not disclosed on phone $12.99 charge for using this booking company when, despite clicking everywhere, I could not get another number. Unfortunately it is not cancellable otherwise I would cancel it.
Just beware when you reserve..IDK how the rooms are yet. Only reason I booked this room is to be there for a National Exam..not to socialize. Won't use it again.

Where to begin.
The place is so dated. The parking is quite a hike from the actual entrance. There is no view to be seen. We were on the 11th floor. The carpeting in the hallways is falling apart (frayed) and there was garbage on the floors that no one picked up.
The room was also dated. The gold diamonds in the bathroom were not great - something out of the 70's. The shower head vibrated.
There was not even a queen size bed. We got 2 full size beds so we had to sleep in separate beds!!! The bedding was pretty comfortable. The TV is tiny compared to other hotels.
The towels were so hard. Maybe they could use some fabric softener.
There was a safe, microwave and small fridge in the room.
As for the "free" breakfast buffet. Ugh. Needs to be spruced up and cleaned up. It was a busy Sunday morning and there should have been someone steady cleaning up the buffet area. The toasters did not toast (and took forever). The potato egg dish was cold.
The coffee cake was good. The tomatoes were good. The wait staff was good.
The hostess was friendly.
One of the worst concierge clubs for a Marriott property. What a joke. No bottled water just a faucet and who wants blueberry granola bars that fall apart?
Elevators need to be adjusted.
Location is only good if you are attending the convention center or there to shop.

I did a mobile check in when I booked the room, which was at 10am day of arrival. I picked up my room key around 5pm. I left before going to the room to pickup my bags and then returned to find that the linen in my room was soiled and moldy. The light fixture was in disarray and the room was dusty. I went downstairs to explain my findings to the the receptionist and she gave me an attitude and asked why I was just noticing this issue when I had checked in at 10am, as if it matters. When she realized that I had done mobile check in she offered to move me to a new room or have it cleaned. I opted to be moved. When I entered the next room I immediately checked the linen to find mysterious brown stains on the duvet, which I took a photo of and went back downstairs to the receptionist to voice my concerns. She asked to see a picture as if I was lying and never apologized for the inconveniences. It was only when I got upset from being given the run around that she was able to come up with a solution. She then had the supervisor of housekeeping meet me in the room I was initially in to show him my findings. He saw what I was saying and apologized, but made multiple excuses for the poor work. I was finally moved to a third room that was clean yet dingy and it didn’t feel worth my time to continue the charade of moving from room to room. I was tired and completely agitated. Not once did anyone offer to help me with my bags or anything of the sort. I stayed 3 nights and on my last night attempted to call the front desk to ask for something numerous times and the phone registered a busy signal for an hour straight as if taken off the hook. There was no maid service at all for the 3 nights I was there, which was not mentioned to me upon check in. I checked out and was asked how my stay was to which I replied “not great” and the receptionist did not further enquire. Overall, the hotel is dirty both the rooms and common areas. The staff was unfriendly and rude. There was unfortunately no manager available because it was a holiday weekend. I was thoroughly unsatisfied and will be sure to let anyone in need of a hotel know to stay elsewhere.

Planned a trip to AC for New Year's. We had stayed here two years ago for New Year's Eve and it was wonderful. Check in this time was fine. We had a room with a nice view of the city. My husband had called the hotel management before we got there, to ask for flowers, wine and/or candy to be in our hotel room, at extra cost as a surprise for me. He was told that they couldn't do flowers, but they were happy to add a bottle of wine and some candy for the room. My husband waited on hold for the manager to verify this. Unfortunately when we got there, there was no wine or candy in the hotel room as promised. My husband later called the hotel management and they said the clerk had forgotten to ask him for a credit card to pay for it, so they just hadn't done it. Couldn't they have charged it to the room, which is what he thought they would do?! This was inexcusable, to be promised the wine and candy as a gift for me, and then to not have it happen. The room itself was a HUGE disappointment. It had a very bad musty smell. The furnishings looked like nothing had been cleaned or touched in months. The pillows smelled so bad that I had to get two towels from the bathroom to put over the pillows so the stench did not keep me awake. We were extremely disappointed to find that the hotel bar, the Shoe Bar, was closed. What hotel in Atlantic City has a closed bar between Christmas and New Years?! Last time we stayed there, the Shoe Bar was open every night. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall in the bathroom, and a very bad smell was also coming from the sink drain. There is no storage at all in the bathroom, not even a shelf under the sink. A couple of the drawers were broken in the room as well. When we left, bell service was fine. It took over 20 minutes to get our car from the valet ($30/night) even though the hotel was nearly empty. This used to be a great place to stay if you didn't want to gamble. It used to be warm and friendly, with well appointed rooms. We probably will never stay there again, which is sad, because we used to love going there. So sad to see the decline in this once very nice hotel.

First the front desk people were great! Now the review. The bed was terrible it was sunken in the middle without anyone in it. The pillows were the worst I have ever seen literally could not support your head. The bed sheet did not tuck in and as soon as you got on it the bedspread would come off the bed and you where sleeping on the mattress. Carpet worn out tv is small. The refrigerator was a good size for a hotel room. Fitness room was decent for a hotel the pool was small. The parking is a rip off $18 a night for self parking and it is across under the convention center. Make sure you drop your luggage off first it is a long walk for parking. Breakfast is $20-30 per person and is really not worth it. Basic breakfast foods and not real good short on staff so your coffee will not always be filled, and it is not a real nice place. Way over priced. Kinda disappointed in Sheraton.

Sorry .. Our room did not have a hot tub or jacuzzi.. but I’m not sure if other rooms do.
No, the hotel itself does not have any shuttle, etc., but during the day there are some casinos within walking distance, but I certainly would not walk at night. Your best bet is to Uber or take a cab, with Uber being your better choice. The nicest casinos ( Hard Rock, Borgata, and Ocean) are too far away to walk and in different directions. Hard Rock and Borgata are the two nicest ones and are in exact opposite directions.
