what a bad experience that resort charged the parking fee without telling us!! We stayed for two week, they charged on the first week of parking fee when we checked in and we told the reception that we are not driving and reception just simply told us the system default cannot removed the charge until we requested to talk to someone senior and they finally removed the parking charge for the first week stay !! We will asked to re-activate our room card for 2nd week stay, they charged the parking fee again without telling us. We only received the credit card bill after return to our own Country. My credit card company American Express dispute with the resort and resort just simply told them that client present the card for the charge!!! What the terrible experience. It is understood the all guest need to present a card when check in as the security for the hotel/resort. How can they charged Quietly !! If that is a genuine charge normally the hotel will present a copy payment slip to guest upon check out. BEWARE OF THIS MAY repeatedly happen! What a pity nice location resort but with the lousy experience with the staff attitude !!

Mediocre at best. Location is great and views are beautiful but the property is run down. We had a "newly" renovated room after we refused a room with filthy carpets and holes in the doors. The newly renovated room had stained tiles and minimal cleanliness. My kids didn't want to use the pool because they felt the water was murkey. The arcade is outdated and takes a ton of quarters.

We visited Flagship for the first time in early October. We live in nearby Philadelphia and my whole life we had vacationed at the Jersey shore in a small town 30 minutes south of AC. Every year during our shore vacation we would go to Atlantic City one or two evenings for a show or a short casino visit or dinner at one of the many fine restaurants. We are not casino gamblers though. This stay was a getaway booked through Interval international. We had an expiring credit and wanted to stay close to home so flagship fit the bill. Often there is lovely weather in early October. Luckily this time we only intended to stay three or four nights for a birthday celebration with nice dinners and beach walks even though we had seven nights booked ( Standard for Interval Getaways). As it turns out hurricane Ian and they follow on nor’easter storm resulted in 4 days of bad or unpleasant weather. The bad weather started on check in day Saturday. Since we are only one hour away we drove to flagship to get the lay of the land for both the neighborhood and the resort and our assigned suite. Check in on this gloomy October Saturday went smoothly. I told the young lady I needed a suite with a good bed because of some back issues. She did not really look up at me but studiously reviewed something for a while then wrote down information and handed us a key. She said I gave you a unit with a king size bed. That sounded promising. She also gave us a parking pass for which she was charging $50. We told her we were not going to have a car on the premises for several days so she removed that. We went to a unit on the 22nd floor. We did have a full one bedroom unit reserved. The room exceeded our expectations! It was a rather large and a decently furnished one bedroom. The bedroom actually was huge and had the promised king size bed. The living room was a medium size with a table that seats 4 and an adjoining small kitchenette. The bathroom was accessible from either the bedroom or the foyer/kitchenette hallway. There was a nice balcony and since we were on a corner you could see two views. Well, on that first day we could see nothing because it was extremely foggy. We left shortly thereafter returning to home until the two storms passed several days later. We returned to the resort on Wednesday. We went first to the front desk to check that we were OK parking in their adjoining parking lot and asked did we need a pass for that. Yes we did but there was no charge. We went up to our unit and unpacked. Over the next few days we enjoyed the general comfort of the unit, the quiet of the building and no noise from neighbors ( I am sure the building was not near full capacity) plus very nice views. We found that it was just a short drive by car to the marina casino area and we visited restaurants in all three of those casinos the Borgata, Harrahs, and Golden Nugget. We drove over to Brigantine twice - it makes for a nice ride and some nice beach walks and is also very easily accessible from the marina casino area. While the immediate neighborhood around Flagstaff is rather empty it does sit at the beginning of the newly built and expanded boardwalk. One morning we walked not quite 2 miles from the front door as far as the Hard Rock casino where we had some coffee outside at a Boardwalk Table and then walked back to the resort. Quite close to flagship is a little miniature golf and bike rental business. I believe it is called North Beach. We stopped there and inquired about renting bikes the next morning. Since we are seniors and it’s also mid week and a bit off-season we asked about discounts and they very nicely offered one. Normal rate is $18 for 2 hours. The next morning we picked up our bicycles and rode our bikes 5 miles down to the Ventnor fishing pier and return. This is only allowed because it is after the summer season otherwise you have very limited early morning bike riding hours. We did sit on the beach about a half mile away from Flagship for a couple hours one afternoon. We drove our car the half mile And parked on a side street, specifically Rhode Island Ave. or one of its north sitting neighbor streets. From there we could easily carry chairs umbrellas and other stuff up and onto the beach. We would definitely return to Flagship again. We will still do regular vacations at the little town we’ve been going to our whole lives but sometimes for a few days escape Flagship would be fine. I don’t think I would like it in busy season when it would be full and also full of children. We are an older but active retired couple. Flagship did not disappoint during our off season visit. We did not visit the Resort cafe or restaurant but nice to know they have such options onsite

The hotel suite we had was decent. Not great but not awful. The suite was a little shabby around the edges but nothing to complain about; it isn't a five-star hotel. Both the bed and the sofa bed were comfortable and had great pillows. The towels were absorbent. But having no room service was kind of annoying. Another thing that was frustrating was when we asked for more toilet paper one evening and it never came. We had to call the front desk the next morning before they sent up two rolls. The huge issue for us was the other guests smoking on their balconies. The Flagship is a non-smoking hotel and that includes all inside places AND the balconies attached to the rooms. But did the other guests care? At first, we called the front desk and complained, but after a day and a half of them sending security around the floors to investigate, we realized that there wasn't anything they could do to stop the guests from smoking and kept our balcony door shut. That basically ruined our stay there. We had a balcony overlooking the beach and wanted the fresh sea air, especially since hotel rooms run a little dry, but we couldn't use it without the smell of cigarette smoke or marijuana. Early in the morning? Smokers. Late at night? Smokers. 1 am? Smokers. Middle of the afternoon? Smokers. And I'm allergic to smoke. I have to put up with smoke in public places but in a hotel room we paid for? I realize that there is very little that the hotel staff can do to stop a self-absorbed person from smoking wherever they please, regardless of others or the fact it's a no-smoking hotel, so that's why this review is only three stars instead of one. If they can come up with a solution, I'd be glad to revisit my score. But how? There are always going to be insensitive and careless people who flaunt the rules. So bottom line: if you don't mind the smell of smoke wafting in instead of sea air? This hotel is just fine. If you don't want secondhand smoke, go somewhere else.

I usually visit Atlantic City twice a year from Rhode Island and will typically stay at Flagship for a part of one of the visits. This year I stayed a night in September, and used Comps for Ocean and Caesars for other evenings in AC. This was one of my best experiences at Flagship, likely as it was a bit slower with summer ending, and I had no significant issues. I arrived around 8pm or so to check in and there was no line, staff was somewhat friendly, although they just assumed I'd need a parking pass and charged without confirming. I had no issues waiting for elevator throughout my stay and feel staying at Flagship off season is ideal. The only problem I recall was not having any shampoo or conditioner in the room. That was odd. I had a 2 double studio room and it was clean, comfortable, and in good condition. Water pressure was fine and everything worked properly. LOVE Balcony rooms and enjoyed my view of inlet and Harrah's in distance. I had room 1907 so was a bit more than 1/2 way up the tower. Parking garage had some spots open and was clean. I had a great stay and will continue to return to Flagship when in Atlantic City to enjoy the lovely balcony, comfortable rooms, and quiet area. I recommend staying and it is nice there is a kitchenette area too! I just hope they keep working on attention to details!

Not a pleasant experience for the following pointers: 1) reception charge parking fee without asking whether we drive and have a car to par, when we noticed and highlighted the parking charges, they removed it but still appeared on our credit card bill, we are still appealing to Amex now 2) no one inform or tell us there is shuttle bus services till we happen to see the bus ourselves. Thought it should be the norm for receptionist to inform and give us the shuttle bus schedule upon checking in 3) shuttle bus didn’t run according to the schedule, we waited for 1.5 hours at “The Walk” Tanger Outlet and finally took a taxi for $13 to go back to hotel 4) hotel want us to call to book housekeeping service 24 hours beforehand, but nobody answer most of the time we called. When call was transferred to concierge and we left our request, they still won’t get it done. Eventually, we took a max of 4 days to get them to do housekeeping on our room 5) I would say the hotel is old and at a lease convenient location amongst all hotel accommodation along the Boardwalk, that’s probably why they provide shuttle bus service (ONLY for Friday Saturday and Sunday). Taxi in and out would cost $13 per trip 6) lastly, the pillows are not comfortable and doesn’t give me to feeling it’s clean enough In Summary, besides that it’s not a new or recently refurbished hotel, it is the reception and concierge service that made the entire experience unpleasant.

I checked in on a Friday afternoon. The check-in went well, I entered a suit that was a little dated, the carpet smelled the TV were small for today's standards. On the fourth night the light in the shower started leaking water from the room above. Maintenance came up but did nothing because the water stopped. However, it started the next morning with more water. we were m oved to a newly renovated room with the same view. All was well until my wife took a shower and the water backed about 3 ". A nice young man came up and solved the problem after I had to go to the front desk because the room phone did not work. When I call on my cell, I then got no answer. The young lady at the desk was alone and had a few people on the line. so, i understood why she did not answer. All was well after that but then I saw a big wad of hair in the living room. see attached

Our Family stayed at the Flagship in Atlantic City this past week. Our first experience with the Flagship Hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff at the Hotel were very helpful and always had a smile on their faces. Our rooms were large, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, beautiful views from our balcony and very clean. The hotel offered many amenities...restaurants, indoor pool, outdoor jacuzzi to name a few. I personally would have liked an outdoor pool but wasn't really that important as we did go to several different beaches very close to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Atlantic City.

We stay at this resort once a year and we love it. We just wish they would tweak the obvious. Location- the best location in all on Atlantic City. At the end of the Broadwalk; quite, convenient, bikes for rent, free parking, ocean breeze, all balconies, walking distance to Dino park, walk out the front door and there’s the broad walk turn right and you are 3 blocks from the beach, plus the best bagel place in AC, liquor store and of cause…the casinos. Staff- everyone is friendly, helpful and professional. In fact, even the timeshare folks are great. Rooms- the new renovations make these rooms, some of the nicest in AC (for the price) Amenities- the pool and jacuzzi area is used but it is clean and roomy; laundry available; and a bar in the lobby. Needs tweaking 1. At 8:00 am- don’t look for breakfast in this resort. The restaurant is closed, the cafe is closed and the convenient store is closed. Closest breakfast is 3 blocks, toward the broad-walk, and it is probably the best bagel sandwich you can have. 2. When the restaurant is open- the food is great…when it finally arrives. Both days we visited at 3 pm. 2 tables in restaurant; Seated in about 5 minutes; never waited on, after 10 minutes we got up and placed our order; one server, an absent host, no bar tender; food took 20 minutes (but was delicious); standing at the register it took 10 minutes to get our check and there were 9 tables now seated…all waiting. 3. Internet- OMG…with 36 stamps in our passport in 2018, we travel. You can’t even call this internet. In fact, I paid for Premium ($14.00 per day) and it still didn’t work. For a beautiful resort, this is a shame. 4. Security- while a guard greets you at the door…anyone can walk in, walk up to the elevator, and go straight up. This was concerning because all cities have run down areas and the boardwalk is only blocks from one. Other then those small inconveniences, this is a great place to stay in AC…and being a long time resident of Las Vegas, we know something about Casinos/hotels/resorts and gambling.

I called the mortgage department to get a copy of my bill for payment and the CSR gave the wrong information to the director, who in turn refuse to forward me my bill and said I needed to just give him my payment information. I hung up and called back to speak with someone else and was reconnected to him , whom I didn't know was the director the first time, who proceeded to call me names "black bitch", talk about my credit, yelling at me and calling my phone back several times cursing at me. Please do not purchase timeshare here, the customer service is horrible !!!!!!!!!
