If I could give this place a minus start I would. It was the worst place I ever stayed in. They need to be shut down! How do a place like this stay in business. Run do not stay here. Sleep in your car!
I was very tired , just needed to sleep and the $34 price lured me in . I made sure to ask if they had wi fi , as I wanted to keep in touch, and they said they had . I should have got suspicious when they asked me for cash as their pc was down , and they could not scan my ID either . The place looked like a $34 hotel , but I figured that was par for the course . The room smelt worse than some dog kennels I know , and the wi fi soon failed . When I went back to reception I met the disagreeable old man mentioned in other reviews , He was indeed rude to a level where a good smack in the head was required , and din not understand English or talk it , and refused to give me a refund The wi fi was sporadic , and after ready other reviews I went to the nearest store for food ( and bug spray ). I could not order food from the provide menu , because the phone did not work , neither did the bedside lights . The shower looked like an adventure , in I'm a celebrity get me out of here , and the TV was an antique , I was actually surprised it was a colour one, no TV guide and from the reception , the cable must have been put in in the late 70's The only redeeming feature of the entire stay was the spectacular sunset visible form the window…
I truly hope this business gets shut down by health and safety. I walked into a business owner who does not speak English fluently at all for him to be rude and dismissive of any questions i asked. He gave our room key and we walked into a 85 degree room that smelled of moth balls. The fridge was broken, the television was broken, the bathroom lights were broken and you had to wiggle the switch to get one light bulb to flicker on and off, and there were two outlets in the entire room neither near the bathroom or the beds. We walked to the front office and stated the television was broken and the bathroom light was as well. The owner came over and said TV won't work cause of service not cause its broken and the light he proceeded to flip on and off and never actually fix and stated he could do nothing else. We decided to make the best of the situation cause we would only be there to sleep. I woke up in the middle of the night itchy my hands neck and feet. I looked in the mirror to find large welts from something biting me in my sleep. I was covered in them and reported this to the owner in the morning. He stated OK you check out now give your key. Never asked if I was okay or that he would check the room or apologized for this. It was a disgrace and I only hope people will read this and be deterred from staying here.…
My daughter and some friends went to AC for the weekend and stayed in this horrible place. She came home on Sunday and woke up Monday morning with bites all over her and bed bugs. Spent almost $3000 to have my house treated, new mattress, mattress cover, etc. Called motel and manager was a disgusting, rude man with no professional etiquette. He could have cared less about having bed bugs. Do not stay there
Stuck in AC had enough of who I was staying with and was not up for the ride home. The sign out side says $39 but when you walk inn off the street it's $60 . But I didn't want to drive so I took it the room Was fair one light old bathroom but clean a bit musty by for just a few hours it served its putpose
Everything is broken and eveeything that it says in the reviews that would be in the room isnt but good thing we arent in all the the time. I had to fix the shower because maintenance never came. And i bet i wont get a discount. And i need to stay another night.
Bought a room bc we just needed to stay an extra night in Ac but our nice room at legacy vacation resort was too pricey for a Friday night. When we got to skyline the floors were stained and sticky, it was a none smoking room that smelled of smoke and the sheets had cigarette burns. Even the curtains were stained. But we had to suck it up and sleep there because the reservation was non-refundable. There are some decent motels out there and we had hope for this one but it was literally a scaring experience. Don't stay here!
We just stayed a this hotel the weekend of 2/20/15. It was a last minute booking, as we were not planning to stay in Atlantic City that day. Andrew, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. He gave us a very good rate. The room was clean but could use some upgrade. The bathroom was small and our room, 309, was near the main road and it was kind of noisy. The air conditioner/heater was also somewhat noisy. But it worked beautifully. The WiFi was excellent! Better than many other places we have been at. This place is two blocks away from The Tropicana, great if you are there to see a show or gamble and don't want to spend the hefty price of staying at the Tropicana or if if you have comp but they have no room which happens a lot. They have continental breakfast in the morning good to start you off. It is from 7-9am, so get there early. Mostly bagels, cream cheese, muffin etc. It is close to everything, including the beach and boardwalk, which in the summer will be great. Walking distance to to outlets. There are two of these hotels, one on each end. The one we stayed at was 3200 Pacific Avenue. Check rates online, which are better than if you go in person. Overall, if you only need a place to sleep and are not planning on spending your day in the room this was a good place. The mattresses were very good and relatively new. We will use this hotel again in a pinch if Tropicana does not have nay rooms.…
We stayed at The Rodeway Inn on Pacific Avenue 2 blocks from the Boardwalk behind the Tropicana. The pictures on the website does not match the room. We stayed in room 305 and it was clean. Lets face it, the rooms are way outdated here and could use removations for the prices that are charged $160+ for 1 Friday night and it was mentioned that it would be $199 for and extra night when we checked in and for some reason on saturday the price went up to $299 when we asked again (HUH!!). The bathroom was very clean (I didnt feel scuzzed out showering and using the towels) the beds were comfortable, clean sheets, mini refrigerator in the room but for some reason the carpet was cold and felt damp. If you want fancy pay for fancy!
H this was the worst place I've EVER stayed at while traveling. The room smells like old people, and my worst complaint is the bathroom. The toilet takes like an hour to flush, and we called to complain and were told that all of the rooms are like that.
