Hotel's Favourite
Prices at food venues too high. There were not enough employees checking on guests. The hotel is beautiful, but it is away from the life of Atlantic City, the Boardwalk. Maybe you could offer a FREE shuttle. You nickel and dime guests with parking fees and shuttle fees, I'm sure you could comp those items..

My wife and I came down for a concert weekend and split our time between Borgata and Caesars. What I like most about this resort is the seclusion. This is a destination resort so you don’t get the “characters” walking in off the boardwalk. We’ve actually had someone harass us enough at a boardwalk casino that he was kicked out.

We stayed in room 404, a suite. It was extremely spacious with a large entrance, 2 queen beds, a sitting area, bar/desk area and a bathroom that was the largest I’ve seen in a hotel. The view was underwhelming as it looked right onto rooftops and a parking garage. A nice feature in the bar/desk area was the plethora of outlets (both traditional and ones for USBs). There was also a bottle opener built onto the wall. This is definitely an entertaining room for some programming before a night out.

The bathroom had a separate room for the toilet so there is some privacy if someone wants to use the shower or the sinks. It has a large double vanity which is perfect for two women getting ready. The single vanity on the other side of the bathroom is nice to have but the drawer is deceivingly shallow. Don’t expect to be using that for anything but maybe magazines. I definitely enjoyed a morning soak in the tub while finishing the leftover drinks I didn’t quite get to from the night before. The beds were firm but comfortable.

Being at the end of the hall was wonderful because we had no one walking past our door, drunk and yelling at all hours of the night. We typically do get that but this was a nice change.

If you are going to Atlantic City to do a little gambling, or just to have a great Covid aware and clean hotel experience, this is a great place. Spotless, and with sanitizer and hand washing sinks everyone, and even the remote has been sanitized. They often have great week day rates as well.

This was my first stay at the Borgata in Atlantic City when I first checked in I was aware of the $150 a night deposit. I was told at check out that if I paid it off the debit card instead of cash. I would receive my difference back of resort fee which was $22.71 minus the $150 hold in a couple of days. I figure like the other casinos such as Harrah’s, Caesars that I usually stayed at my money is back on my debit card within 2-3 days. I checked out on 2/6 and still have not received my deposit back yet. Call customer service this morning and they told me it takes at least two weeks. They should be more honest about their hold policy and it definitely is not worth no $150 a night deposit. The rooms are just as great in others casinos for least hold on debit card and they be honest about their policy. First and last time.

Hello Joeann, Please be advised that authorization holds are released immediately upon your check-out. It is dependent on your individual banking institution how quickly you will see this reflected. However, guests typically see it reflected within 5-7 business days. If you do not see this released back into your account within this time frame, we suggest reaching out to your banking institution for more information. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and hope to welcome you back to Borgata soon.

The casino stank of stale cigarette smoke. Clothing and suitcases needed to be aired after only a 2 night stay. Anyone who has breathing issues should avoid this casino. Whoever designed the bathroom never expected anyone to use the shower. Major flooding every time. Bring your boots if you want to keep your feet dry.

The rooms are still top notch and the courtesy of the staff is good.
One of the drawbacks remains they do not have tap beer anywhere.
The slots machines are kept spotless No broken keys and downtime even though they have thousands
The coffee shops have decent sandwiches and breakfast meals for the prices.
If you are a poker player this place is for you 24/7 the tables are buzzing.

I booked two rooms for my family and my mother-in-law for my wife's birthday. Our reservation clearly said staywell rooms. I called a week in advance just too request to see if we could have the rooms next to one another. Took over 40 minutes just to get a live person. They said they were unable to make this request because it came through orbitz and showed one classic room and one stay well. Which was not true since I did the booking at the same time. I called the booking company and they said that it was correctly put in as both staywell rooms and they would send the hotel a note so that it showed correctly on their records. When we called the hotel back to see about getting the rooms together I again had to wait another 30 minutes on hold. Then was put on hold again since she said she needed a supervisor to make that type of request. After waiting an additional 30 minutes I just gave up and hung up. If it's this difficult and such a long wait for the most basic of requests I can only imagine how bad it will be once we were actually there. I rather spend my money with someone who cares about customer service and at the very least can be responsive for basic requests.

To Whom it May Concern:
I recently stayed at Borgata and had several negative experiences. I am sharing my experiences with you with the hope that it provides valuable feedback to your organization to make necessary corrective measures. First, the room that I stayed in was not clean, of which I have taken pictures. For example, the glasses provided were dirty and when I asked the housekeeping woman to provide new ones, she explained that she rinsed them in the bathroom sink. This is unacceptable to me and especially during the COVID pandemic I would expect a more thorough cleaning of items that guests put their mouths on. Second, I had a very negative experience with the pool manager. The line to get into the pool area was extremely long to begin with and the pool manager was rude, dismissive, and not helpful at all to his staff. Guests were not treated according to what my standards are, and I spent nearly a decade in high end hospitality environments serving guests at different locations.
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received during my four night stay at Borgata and I will share with everyone my negative experiences because guests deserve better especially considering the cost of your rooms.
I welcome any additional questions you may have - I can be reached via email or by phone at:mena_mannon@yahoo.com

Went for a bachelor party; was with 14 people and 7 rooms, including a bachelor studio suite. The package supposedly included 8 passes to the premier nightclub; I say supposedly because there were no physical passes, and no one was clear on how we were supposed to use them. The front desk just sent us to the club, and at the club no one seemed to have a clue what we were talking about. We had to go back to the desk and get a manager to have them let us in. All this took over 30 minutes. For this, we got $50 drink credits. Even then they charged us the admission fee, but said it would be removed from our bill. Of course it was.... after having to explain everything all over again to a new manager the next day. The bachelor package also 'includes' beer and snacks for the room. Includes - except they charge you the $10 in room dining fee, plus tax and tip. So, $20 for a bowl of (very good) soft pretzels and 8 Budweisers. Worth it? Not really. And beyond these two things, there is just no actual special treatment for coming and having a party there. Couldn't even throw in $50 in casino credit for the bachelor or something?

Beyond the package itself being disappointing, the Borgata did not live up to hype. Service was poor; went to the pool bar at the Water Club so we could get drinks... when the bartender decided to show up after 30 minutes (and then disappeared for another 20 minutes later). Food at Angeline's was fine, but not worth the money (though we did have a memorable experience of someone offering to sell us drugs during dinner - classy!).

The rooms themselves were very nicely appointed. So no complaints there.

Upon check in we asked about an upgrade to a suite and we’re given the Fiore suite for an additional $50. When first entering the room everything appeared to be clean until I went into the bathroom. I put the t;I let seat down and the area between the toilet and the tank was CRUSTED with dried out urine! I went up the hall to get the aid who, under my supervision thoroughly cleaned the toilet and kept says “I’m sorry.”
Now I’m looking closer. The bathroom shower had hair revenants, the furniture in the bedroom was so dusty that I was able to write DUST ME in the dirt.
We stayed the night and checked out the next day.
Room service breakfast was a joke. I guess they’re still using the Covid excuse and the food came in cartons with plastic dishes and utensils in a plastic bag. It’s pretty ironic and hypocritical that housekeeping is nowhere near Covid clean but room service is sticking to protocols that ended months ago for other hotels.

I think it's open till 7:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. for all guests but early in the morning I think they just reserve it for adults if they want to do like laps or something? There's no lifeguard there so it's no deep end. 4 ft I think is what it is maybe 5 ft at the most but there's no deep end like no diving or things like that
