I was worried about staying as there are a lot of mixed reviews, but I would come back again, especially because the price was right. Check in was easy, when we pulled up to the hotel we were immediately greeted by the bellhop who took our luggage and parked our car. Valet was only $5 more than self parking, which was $5. With valet you can come and go as many times as you want. The lady at check in was pleasant. Our room was tidy, yes a bit dated, but not a deal breaker. Don’t expect brand new, I don’t think any of Atlantic City is brand new. No noise problems near our room. There are plenty of restaurants right in the hotel, Harrys oysters bar was delicious and we had breakfast at Bucco’s, the menu was better than the buffet. There is a pool but apparently it is independently owned so you have to pay to use unless you are”gold” member (something along those lines) It cost $10 for the day. The pool was clean and there are 7 hot tubs and a sauna. Ballys is connected to Ceasers so you can walk there without having to go outside. There are a few restaurants over there as well. We ate at Gordon Ramseys, it was pricey but delicious. For you coffee drinkers there is a Dunkin’ Donuts in the lobby of Bally’s that delivers to your room as well. There is an arcade for kids, if you happen to have yours with you. The room keys can sometimes be a bit temperamental or it could be the “reader” as we have had to get out of an elevator because it wouldn’t read the key and you need the key to use the elevator and we once had to go get our key reset because it wouldn’t open our door. Overall I am satisfied with our stay and would stay here again.

It is in a good location, there is great entertainment and good food options. The rooms can use a renovation and more non- smoking areas in the casino can be made available. The casino is well maintained and the slot machines give you a chance to play rather than feeding them with money.

The more popular restaurants were closed during the height of the afternoon. Although the casino was 24 hours we saw more clean up crew and security than we did patrons. The room was lovely and the staff was friendly. All along the boardwalk is shopping and bike trolly rides at cost that allows you to see some of the sights. Ripley’s believe it or not was just a stone’s throw away. Also hotel patrons receive coupons for discounts on self parking and drinks at the local bar on the premises. We would have enjoyed the ocean and boardwalk more but it was a bit chilly out.

Recently stayed at Bally’s for a wrestling tournament and was put in the Dennis Tower. Our room was absolutely disgusting. Stains on rugs, curtains and beddings. The bathroom had chips on the all the tiles and the tub itself. The furniture was all nicked up as well.
First day there our toilet constantly ran and made a whistling noise, they did come and correct the problem about 5 hours after I called down. The next morning went to take a shower and the shower head barely spit out any water at all. At that point I called down to switch rooms which they did with no problem at all. However they just moved me to a lower floor in the same tower, the new room was a tad bit bigger but still disgusting.
My son was staying in the Bally Tower with his team I requested a room by him since his room was a little cleaner/nicer and they wanted to charge me an extra $40/night to move within their own hotel.
I would not recommend staying in this hotel at all.
Spend the extra $20/night and go to Caesars if that’s the area of AC you would like to stay in.

I made a cup of coffee the morning after my 1st night stay and white stuff was all over the cup and inside the coffee. I looked up into the coffee maker and it was disgusting. Refrigerator was also all jacked up with broken shelves. They give you the option to opt out of room service for a $10 credit, which sounds good. But this only applies to specific places if you eat at them for $10 off your bill. They also give you a card that says they are able to and will enter your room whenever they want because of you opting out. The whole thing is just skeptical.

I thought that with the Covid situation room would be cleaner, I was wrong. Luckily I brought a pack of Lysol wipes to clean light switches and door knobs. Everything was so dirty but since I was already there I would try to make the best out of it. I cleaned everything before my husband and son touched it. The 3 nights I stayed no room service so garbage piled up and no towel replacement. We had to empty garbage can in bag and take out the garbage. I did not see one person cleaning the slot machines and I spent alot of time on the casino floor. No one cleaned elevator buttons or the doors too the casino neither. It might have been that I was expecting too much but with Covid 19 I though high traffic areas would be cleaned more often. So if you like to gamble bring extra gloves so you dont have to touch machine with hands. The rooms are priced cheap but for peace of mind I would pay way more in any other hotel if they had more people cleaning common and high traffic items.

I was very pleased with the acomadations. Was given an ocean view room on a higher floor and the view was amazihng! Could the cleaning have been a little better? Yes, however, I did notice them continually cleaning throughout the building and working to combat these challenging times we are living in right now. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. One thing they could work on is the coffee situation. Pots were removed from all rooms and the only place in the early morning to get a coffee is the Dunkin' Donuts, which was severely taxed trying to keep up. 45 minutes in line just to get a cup of coffee should not be. There has to be another way to correct this. Otherwise, I look forward to staying again!

Very disappointed with my recent trip to Ballys Atlantic City
To let u know they raised the resort fees $32 plus
Considering the COVID situation for what you are paying for u get nothing in return
When I got to my room 3834. At first I couldn’t open my door. The door handle seemed broken. As if someone tried breaking into this room at some point. It took several tries before I figured out that the only way the door would open was to pull up on the door handle and push the door open
First thing I check is the bathtub. There was mold around the caulking. Not good.
I thought about just leaving and going home since 2 strikes on my first visit since casino opened wasn’t starting off well.
Decided to just drop our bags and run outdoors to have some fun on the Boardwalk. When we returned to our room same trouble with door handle u can just turn it up and down and it does nothing. Once I got it opened I decided this needs to be fixed or I need to change rooms
Eventually the desk picks up this was around 545pm ish.
The person at the desk said it’s too late to change rooms
And they won’t fix it if I don’t wait for some one to show up. So we were gonna go to dinner. We waited 30 min. No one came I called again no one picked up the phone
We decided to go eat and hoping upon returning it would be fixed.
Came back around 11pm. And it wasn’t fixed. Very bad !
Since only a one night visit and not feeling safe I used security latch and propped a chair under the door handle
I wanted to use comps at checkout so I called front desk no one picked up. Figured I’ll just express c/o on tv and get the heck outta this awful hotel I took a video of door problem and will attach. Bally’s ur a huge disappointment
I won’t be back. I know this property is sold and I see that u don’t care at this point since ur loosing this property to another owner

So so very disappointed in my trip to Bally’s this time. My wife and I went for our nieces 21st Bday. We could see their attempt to be prepared for the Pandemic and mostly pretty good attempt. But very displeased with the cleanliness of our room!!!!!! First of all they were putting red stickers on the doors of the rooms that had been cleaned so it sealed the door and you were able to see no one had been in after it was cleaned. We get to our room no sticker no seal!!!!! Called the front desk and instead of offering to move us offered to send up housekeeping. Not what was truly acceptable in my eyes but ok what ever. You could see someone had cleaned the bed was made and things looked to have been wiped down well some things. The tub was nasty had long black hair in it, there was urine at the base of the toilet, the toilet seat was dirty as well as a huge wet spot on the rug next to the bed which seemed to get worse after the shower was used so I figure the tub must leak!!!!! Seemed not to matter much to the people I talked to on the phone at the desk so I just didn’t push the issue any further. Put a towel folded over the wet spot as well as cleaned the toilet seat and the tub with the Lysol and bleach my wife and I take with us specially given the circumstances of the world right now. I’ll post a few pictures as well not really sure if I’ll stay at Bally’s anymore which is sad because that’s the only place my wife and I stay at when we go to AC for the past 11yrs.

We booked 4 hotel rooms on priceline for the NESPA convention. The credit card was charged for a portion of the booking and then when we checked out of our rooms, we were charged "resort fees" which include self parking, wifi (which you have to pay for if you try to use) and gym access. So basically you pay $30/day for self parking. I wish it were a little more clear before booking that we would be charged this fee.

The rooms were disgusting as well. One of the rooms had dirty towels and the bathtub backed up every time it was used.
