Well, I'm not sure where to start. After checking-in and getting to my room i realized that i had made a terrible mistake. The main door knob was broken, the bed comforter had cigarette burn holes, the bathroom faucet produced "brown/rusty" water, the room smelled of smoke and was just in bad, bad, condition. I would never in good conscience rent a room like that to anyone at any price. I expressed my frustration and tried to get a refund with no luck - the guy was TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. Don't jeopardize your safety and waste your money here....!

Do not choose this place! Hidden fees. Have to pay early on the morning of arrival even if you choose "pay at the motel". RUDE! Bed bugs bit me and my daughter. Roaches in the bathroom. Dirty floors. Smelled like smoke and marijuana everywhere. The people hanging around appear to be on drugs. There are broke down vehicles in the parking lot. Needs updated bad! There was a hole in the bathroom floor and a small hole in the wall by the air conditioner. The seal was gone under the door. The door wasn't shutting properly. There was only a chain on the door for safety. I felt very unsafe. The tv wouldn't work. There was no refrigerator or microwave. This is a terrible place! They charge for parking!!!!

This had to have been one of the worst rooms I have ever stayed in. Room decor was barebones. There was a chemical smell permeating it. The curtain on front window was torn and stained. There was no smoke detector - only bare wires where it should have been. Faceplate on cable wire hanging in midair and closet with wires on floor. Door was not very secure and had splitting water damage on the bottom. I had to pay over $200 for this dump because of the season and last minute but I wouldn't pay $20 to stay there again. Old tires and other trash on the bottom floor walkway. Neighborhood kind of scary, too. I took pictures because I was going to write to the Rodeway company about how bad it was.

We stayed here for three nights. It is straight across from the Resorts which is quite convienent. Maybe a football field and a half away from the boardwalk. Room was kinda small but clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were extremely cheap compared to the hotels in casinos. Microwave and refrigeraters in all the rooms which we liked. Would definetly stay again.

this hotel and manager was the worst I have ever come across. we checked in at 2pm, put our bags on the bed then immediately spent the day on the boardwalk. The office attendant was outside and witnessed that we hadn't stayed in the hotel yet. we came back at 7:30 pm and quickly took turns using the bathroom. We put all the lights on and when we turned back the sheets, we found long strands of black hair. As we looked further, there as a used condom wrapper near the nightstand, along with cigarette ashes on the rug in the non-smoking room. there was blood on the door frame and no smoke detector. The room was filthy! The best part, under the corner of the bed, was old DOG POOP!
We brought the office attendant to the room and not seemingly surprised at all, he said he would have a talk with the housekeeper. Are you kidding me? then offered us to inspect another room that we could use. No thanks!! We did not stay.
The manager would only refund us 50% of the $152.00 that we paid for the room. He actually had the nerve to say that because we checked in at 2, and reported it at 7:30, that we used the room. He even hinted that we might have done all that. I am shocked that a manger would treat their customers like that, especially when dog poop was found in a hotel room. He should have been embarrassed and apologetic. But apparently, this must happen at this filthy hotel all the time. Please check my photos and it will be worth the money they ripped us off if I can help one person from from using this hotel.

First of all, Rodeway Inn's are not known for being a five star motel. However, that being said, if you are looking for a basic motel with friendly employees, great a/c, clean sheets and towels in a clean room with check-in at 2PM and free parking, this your place. We wanted a basic clean room close to the beach and boardwalk. After pricing out casinos at up to $399/night (and they all charge extra to use their pools and park), we found Rodeway Inn for $250/night. After using my Hotels.com free room credit, the price came down to around $125 for the first night. Not to shabby. We quickly checked in, got into our bathing suits and headed to the beach (no beach tags required in Atlantic City). From car to beach in under 25 minutes. On our way back from the beach, we stopped in the office to find out if they had a soda machine. The man behind the desk showed us where it was and then suggested that we have some juice from the continental breakfast bar instead so that we wouldn't have to pay for a drink. Very kind of him and wouldn't have happened anywhere else in Atlantic City. The parking lot was a bit tight but does have sufficient room for parking. After our trip for a show at the Borgata, we returned to the Rodeway Inn, parked and walked to the boardwalk to enjoy the rest of our evening. Sunday morning, we actually had time to hit the beach for a couple of hours after a free basic continental breakfast consisting of coffee, juice and packaged pastries and muffins. Again, not the Hilton but for the money, good enough, especially when you add in the noon check out time when most places want you gone by 11 AM. Would we stay there again? Most definitely!

first of all, after realizing this was probably going to be a dump we attempted to cancel our room two nights before our arrival date. we were told over the phone that we couldnt cancel, then 5 secs later told we could, but had to pay a $40 dollar cancellation fee-which we were totally okay with. we said we'd call back later (bc we wanted to make sure we can book a diff hotel). when we called back an hr later the same guy (who remembered who i was from the first call) was now telling us that we couldnt cancel, we dropped it and showed up two days later at our original reservation. after waiting 30 mins to check in and receive room keys we finally went upstairs to our room. what we found was a tiny room w.an awful strong smell of chemical, and a crack in the glass of our window about 3ft in length. im not being dramatic and saying that is was all open, but it sure was a target and would have made breaking into our room that much easier, and since we were three girls by ourselves we did not, whatsoever, feel comfortable staying here. i called the front desk to tell the man about the crack, not only did he already know about it but when i told him it was a problem for us-he just hung up on me. long story short we packed our bags and went downstairs to approach him. we knew and understood the refund policy so we simply asked for a room change. however, there were no more rooms available, at which point we thought it was only fair for a refund so we can stay somewhere else. he got extremely rude, told us no and began to argue to the point where we had to call the police (who took our side, but unfortunately couldnt do anything because it was a "civil" case not a "criminal" one). after wasting over an hr on this entire event we simply left and went across the st to the hilton and had to pay for another room. altogether, its been almost two wks and we have yet to settle this dispute, but will not give up because we deserve out $250 back; especially seeing as how we did not stay there! please understand im not one to complain but have been to ac many times and never had an experience as close to awful as this was. do yourselves a favor and just spring for the extra hundred bucks and stay at a legit hotel, you wont regret it! ps-there were several other issues which im sure i dont even need to share lol. hope this helps!

My family and I came on vacation this weekend to Seaside Heights, New Jersey. With it being a saturday night we couldnt find any place to stay so decided to look in atlantic city. I found this motel and inatantly gave it a shot. The guy at the front desk was very accomidating and polite. The thing I was most impressed about was the AC being on when we got in the room. The room is a little small, but there was a microwave and a mini fridge that worked. The bathrooms were clean as was the overall room. Also, room has a huge closet for storage. Im pretty satisfied for the price of this hotel.

We stayed at this "hotel" luckily for 1 night only. Payed 200$. The smell in the room was nauseating. Everything: doors, walls, carpet, curtains, furniture, amenities were extremely old, cracked, rusted, stained.. The carpet was sticky. The glass in the microwave door was broken, which potentially poses safety concern. Bathroom door was missing a handle and did not close. Multiple long black hairs on the pillow (about a dozen). Electric outlets broken in the bathroom. My question is how the owner even dares to offer this to people?. This should never cost 200$! Best ever price is 50$ - no more. The manager refused to let us leave the car at the parking lot for a couple hours in the morning unless we pay 15$ fee (regardless that parking lot was completely empty).
