Hotel stinks of sweat in the entrance and the floor I stayed on stunk of smoke. The staff were very unhelpful when they told me I needed $10 cash for parking (not made aware of this when booking) which I didn’t have. Then they demanded $100 CASH for security deposit!! Awful ran down hotel. There was also no breakfast which it advertised as free breakfast.great location but awful hotel and bad management. Do not stay here!
I had roaches crawling on me when i woke up the bathroom was dirty overall the worst motel i ever been to. Management was very rude the didn't care the my room had bugs in it i showed them videos and pictures of the bugs in my room. They did nothing.
I’ve been very satisfied with various Wyndham stays throughout the year until the Super 8 Wyndham Atlantic City screwed up. I only booked a one-night stay, and the location couldn’t even get that right. They had canceled my reservation because the credit card was declined. Instead of notifying me, they canceled the reservation. The rate was discounted when I booked originally, but the gentleman at the front desk said that he could book me a room as a walk-in, which would have cost me almost $30 more than my original reservation. I told him that it was totally unacceptable, since the place was clearly a dump anyway. While sitting in the lobby, I booked somewhere else. To make matters worse, as I proceeded to leave, the clerk called me back to the front desk, and said that he would discount the rate for me which was way too late because I had already booked a better hotel for the same rate. I just wanted to forewarn all of you to stay away from this place. On top of being unaccommodating, it was also a total dump of a facility. This entire debacle caused my plans with my family to be impacted. All I needed was a one-night stay, and they couldn’t even get that right. There is nothing worse than showing up to a hotel to find out that your reservation no longer exists. Oh, this just happened yesterday, August 26, 2022.…
I made the huge mistake of staying in this Super 8 slum hotel this weekend. Everything about this place, from the canceled reservation scam, to the closed pool (All pics of the pool are outdated and no longer accurate) to the terrible over-all condition of the property. It was a horror show. Hearing the lies and BS being served to everyone I saw trying, in vein, to get some honest answers to how mislead they all were, is the most memorable moments I have from my stay in this sewer hole of a hotel, except for being propositioned by a $20 hooker just steps outside the front door. Now that was special!
It was advertised that this hotel had suites so i booked a suite for 6 guests and when we arrived they gave us their biggest room which only had 2 beds and sleeps 4 people. they proceeded to tell me that theyve never had suites and to get a refund i need to go through the booking app I got the rooms on. It is advertised everywhere that this hotel has suites and when I went to complain they wouldnt hear me out and kept ssaying they could do nothing about it. The rooms also werent the nicest or cleanest and the "breakfast" they had was terrible. the pool also was not open...
This place is terrible, the bad out weighs the good in every way. Black mold, not clean, small rooms, service isn’t great, pool wasn’t open, not enough towels, toilet paper, soap. Air conditioner worked good and location isn’t bad.
Extremely dirty with stains on the towels, sheets and the carpet. The blanket had cigarettes holes. There was only one set of towels for two people. The location the fine. If you can I strongly recommend to void that place
I was blamed for a sink falling out of the note bathroom countertop and it hit my legs. I went down and told the front desk, I was told that I would not be charged I even took a picture of the incident and my legs! Which are scratched! I feel insulted and disrespected! For one night this place got over 800$ off of me!
We have booked this hotel for two nights and we have arrived to this hotel around 12:30 pm. We know the room is not ready for checking but we ask and the front desk guy told us it’s not ready . And we have asked him if we can use the bathroom in the lobby and he said that the bathroom is not working go to an other hotel to use the bathroom. I ask myself ? I paid for this hotel but he ask me to go to another hotel to use the bathroom. Argument continue..then we left I got back a little while for checking still room is not ready then I have asked if I can leave my children backpack they told me they don’t take it. Then I had an Imergency situation I have to go to Philadelphia not far from the city so on my way back I was a bit late and I have asked my brother to take the children to sleep in their room but when they arrived at the front desk the I have spoken with the person and explain I am on my way can you give them the room key my brother was there to accompany them but he refused finally my children went to find a shelter at my brother hotel . Then I reached out the reservation agent for refund interestingly they told me that the hotel denied the refund. I didn’t sleep the argument start yesterday 12:30 pm now it’s 1:14 am. I have planing to go to the Atlantic City tourism office to report this situation so another family will not be the next victim of this hotel. Belayneh…
Poor service at the front desk. Parking lot was full, and they shrugged when I asked where else I could park. Smoke alarm started beeping in the middle of the night, and nobody would answer the phone. When we went to the front desk, nobody was there either.
