Just stayed here 5-2, this was the worst experience Non smoking rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. After we got the 2nd room it was not clean confetti was everywhere they were left over streamers some one had a party Ray Charles could see the room was not clean the toilet and shower was also nasty I have pictures. And one of the front desk attendants was just so rude and nasty we did not bother to go back. And I am a diamond member. Needless to say my wife never wants to go back there again
1. Had a difficult time checking in prior to 4pm - even after being given a option. 2. Was not able to apply my 10% government discount, "because it was done at registration" is the reason given. 3. Waited ~1.5 hours for breakfast at coastal craft for breakfast... which is not bad however someone should be letting the guest know approximate wait times. 4. Morning of check out the elevator showed signs of persons having vomit several times over the night and it had not been addressed at ~ 10am that morning 5/2/2021. 5. We had a corner room and next door there must be some type of mechanical room in which we could hear loud machinery running from that room throughout the night.
My first visit in a year. And while things are not yet what they were or what they should be, they are working hard to get there. Burdened by many national CDC recommendations and state restrictions, Harrah's is working hard to provide a fun and safe experience. No trouble checking in and pleased with my recently renovated room in the Costal Tower. Smaller than rooms in the Waterfront or Bayview towers, Costal now has most of the same furnishings, just in less space. As I was traveling alone this was fine. Occupancy limitations result in longer lines at food options so be prepared. If you want to eat at one of the higher end restaurants (e.g. Gordon Ramsey) you really need to make reservations in advance of your visit. The same restrictions limit occupancy at the Pool but it WAS open on the weekend in April when I visited. Making lemonade out of lemons, they are using this time to enhance the space - replacing carpet and expanding "The Bar With No Name" in the hotel lobby. I think this is a smart move and will make things better when greater occupancy is possible. While I was disappointed that there were fewer slot games so as to afford required distancing and because of the carpet replacement, I found plenty to play and even played machines I hadn't played in the past - necessity is the mother of invention or, in this case, adventure, Players at table games are all protected by plexiglass dividers. Everyone is wearing masks and is respectful of space. Hand sanitizer stations can be found throughout. Had a great dinner at the Steak House, enjoyed pizza one afternoon and had no trouble getting a breakfast sandwich and coffee in the morning. Valet parking is returning but was only for Diamond and Seven Stars when I visited. Beverages were available on the gaming floor, but staff was spread thin - they need to staff up. Like everyone else I'm looking forward to a seat at the bar - any bar - and that is still off-limits, more game availability and more shopping options. I think May will be a transitional month and the summer will be great. I commend Harrahs for thinking creatively and moving forward. Time to start bringing staff back and opening things up even more. One way we can all help is by getting vaccinated. Those numbers will drive government decisions to loosen the rules currently in place. See you soon!…
I stopped playing at Harrahs 11 yrs ago & decided to try again- Huge mistake!! I gave it a fair try & played mostly every wkend the past 8 months I LOST EVERY wkend over $10,00 how is that possible? I've been playing for 27 yrs & you Win & you lose ...Not lose everytime!! I lost all that $ & they never gave me anything not 1 gift or 1 event. I hardly played at Borgata during this time & they just gave me a gift. What's even worst I didn't play 1 wkend I had things to do in AC , they took away my comp wkend rooms. I can see if I abused it but it was once in 8 mo. So if you want to lose all your money, be treated terrible as a diamond plus & get absolutely nothing this is the place for you. Also my slot play is horrible $20/$30 I haven't played at Resorts Catskills NY anymore & they still give me that slot play & gifts & invite me to events like slot tournaments. Harrahs rooms during pandemic are horrible they aren't been cleaned I see the last people's socks on floor, floors not vacuumed. Also their diamond club laurel lounge food is terrible & a manager treated me horrible I had a fatty piece of meat & she wouldn't give me another. I get in for free since I'm Plus so I can come in as many times anyway, also they have charged me on 5 occasions when I shouldn't not been had to ask 4x before they credited it back, so you can't trust them every time I eat there anywhere in the club or at a restaurant been in their philly location they NEVER ask for ID, if someone gets a hold of my card because because I dropped it that's going into be really bad I gave alot of comps. Go somewhere else too many others casinos do much better for you I hope this helps those who need it…
The casino is very dark and construction is being performed all over. Very little security. We received are room key, went up stairs o(quite a walk) to our room. When we got there, the key didn’t work and I thought I heard someone in room. There was. Went all the way back to desk and the employee wrote the wrong number on the keys. At night it was noisy in the hallway and the air in the room was stale. The door lock was broke and was very nervous during the night. The shower is designed very poorly also. You have to lean in to turn on and shower and you get your head wet and the wall to the shower is not designed. The floor gets wet. The casino floor is uneven and you are constantly tripping and the casino is dark. When you call on the room phone, it is very difficult to reach someone. The parking deck is desolate and you worry about someone attacking you. Will not go back any time soon!!…
