The best side of this hotel is that it's located near to the centre of Rijeka. I was a little disapoinetd with the smell in the room, because it was like an ashtrade. Hotel has a parking space, and the rooms are almost very clean, but the smell from cigaretes was very bad. Breakfast was not spectacular, but it was... More

I stayed there for 20 days. The room faced the harbour and the views were fantastic. Bed was comfortable, clean and warm however it was very small. The bathroom was good but only a liquid soap was offered there was no hair shampoo. The cleaning and the reception staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to provide... More

We spent three nights in Rijeka on our way back from Dalmatia, and found shelter in the Neboder Hotel. The welcome was a little icy, the desk staff polite but not a single iota more...but well, we survived that. The room was, like the building itself, a little old and worn, but everything was very clean and the beds were... More

Missed the entrance to the hotel car park by a few yards, but couldn't reverse due to a maniac bus driver behind me, who must have thought his bus was part of my car and should be glued to it so. This made for another few kilometre drive just to do a lap and get back to the hotel, so... More

We choose this hotel because of its location, the free parking and the misleading pictures. Hotel lobby might look a bit modern but the rooms ... Oh my god... Small, old and could use a serious renovation. Yet, functional with a lovely balcony watching the sea (room number 95). The shower door was broken and so the shower handle. Although... More

Negatives: Growing up in Canada, even though of Eastern European origin, you get used to having smoke-free rooms anywhere you go. This place does not have that! The first room we were given was disgusting. The leftover smell of smoke choked you when you walked in and it looked like it hadn't been refurbished in years (everything was dirty). We... More

It needs a little TLC but it is fine for a nights stay. The staff were friendly, the advice for local dining spot on. Yes it could do with a bit of a re-refurbishment, but the Breakfast is good, and the rooms adequate. The rooms to the front i.e. harbour facing are quirt, the trains run close to the back... More

Stayed there for 1 night (thank goodness not longer). Room #126 on the 12th floor - dirty (very dirty carpet, walls, ceiling, bathroom and even AC). Noisy (on the back of the building is the railroad, and trains go every 20 min or so and you hear it very well). Room is next to an old elevator which makes a... More

Refurbished, very clean, very small rooms. But unbelievable view from the higher floors (the name translates to "Skyscraper"). The bay view (even from the bathrooms on higher floors and sea-facing) is beyond amazing! Good breakfast, but with a big problem - no real coffee served, just coffee-like grain substitute - this is one leftover from socialist times. And the smell... More

The room and breakfast were what you would expect for price. Was surprised that on the 10th floor had great water pressure and plenty of very hot water. The drawback was that both means to access Internet were down 3 of the 4 evenings and 2 mornings. Sometimes staff could restore but often not. View of harbor and old part... More
