This was our first time to the Galapagos Islands, and we opted not to do a sea excursion but still wanted to see as much as we could while spending the nights on land. After a few hours of research online, the Galapagos Safari Camp...More

I am staying at the Safari camp and was wondering if the Santa Rosa Tortise Reserve is close enough to the camp to tour on our own. We are not interested in boat tours, what are the self tour options on Santa Cruz without a guide?

When do you suggest visiting the Galapagos? I have two time options possibly available: late July or October. However, I do have flexibility in my planning. I am not familiar with South America and do not know how to assess weather, etc. I also do not know if your resort has a high or low season. ~ Thank you!

My fiance and I are planning a trip to the Galapagos for our honeymoon. We are curious if it is at all annoying to have two twin beds rather than one queen size or queen bed. No one reviewing this place seems to mention it, but I would think it would compromise the comfort of your sleep given that there is a crack in the middle of the bed. Any opinions are welcome. Thanks!
