Small group tour, wife and I were booked into a villa, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We found all aspects of this stay to be comfortable and pleasant. Dinner's were very good, buffet breakfast was more than satisfactory. Thanks to the staff and manager of this property, job well done.

First off, the staff and service were excellent. Gustavo was especially attentive and friendly. But the prices were very high. I did not think that the upgrade for the villa was worth it. Seemed like the villas needed some interior work and especially the large view windows needed simple cleaning. Unfortunately, We were surprised with a very high bill at...

Thank you for your comments especially congratulating our service; we pride ourselves on providing a friendly and efficient service for our guests, to make everyone feel at home. Unfortunately, prices are higher in the Galapagos compared to the mainland due to transport costs and ever-increasing government taxes on imports. These prices are not exclusive to the Royal Palm; the majority of...

This is the location chosen by Smithsonian for their Machu Picchu/Galapagos trip. We were given a villa when we booked our trip as the regular rooms were sold out. Let me say that I would only stay in a villa on this property. They are huge, 4 room villas that include a living room with fireplace, bedroom with TV and...

Stayed in a Villa which was very roomy and extremely quite great sleeping. The rooms could use some updating. The staff was very good. The only issue was birds in the eating area they were all over the food everyday no covering of the food.

Dear Robert Thank you for your comments. I would like to inform you that since your visit we have addressed the problem of the Finches entering the Restaurant. We have installed mosquito-netted doors throughout the Restaurant, so hopefully this will be a deterrent. Warm regards from the Galapagos highlands, Sue

Located on Santa Cruz Island, the Royal Palm Hotel is a beautiful property that seems to need an influx of funds to bring it up to par. We were originally put in a villa (for which we had paid extra) that had a large living room and a separate sunroom with a jacuzzi tub. Unfortunately, there was no hot water....

Dear Guest Thank you for your comments, we trust you enjoyed your stay with us here at the Royal Palm despite the hot water problem you encountered, which was due to a power surge from the port. As it was not possible to offer an immediate solution, we offered to relocate and upgrade you to the Royal Suite. Unfortunately, the...

My wife and I stayed here for three nights with a Smithsonian tour to the Galapagos. The Smithsonian books 9 Casitas twice a month-so they get a good rate and it is included. The restaurant and bar are in a separate central building-there are semi detached Casitas and an upgrade to villas which are individually placed. For the price I...

The Royal Palm Hotel is in a great location on Santa Cruz Island. It is a few minutes from the dock that connects to Baltra and the Airport. first off, let me say that the tours, both land and sea, that the Royal Palms arranged for us (with subcontracted tour guides) were great. And the views are truly lovely. Dear Royal Palm Guest, As discussed during your stay at Royal Palm, this technical issue was entirely our fault and for your information, we had just finished installing a new fire alarm system to ensure all of our guest´s safety.
