My family and I stayed at the Royal Palm in March of 2017. I want to first comment on the great staff and their responsiveness to every need. Juan Carlos who literally lives at the location during his working hours, was one of the most congenial and friendly people I have ever met. He continually asked how he could assist...

We were here just one day to be at a little higher into the forest. This area is lush and cool. There is a pretty pool with nice common areas The lobby area is elegant and memorable. The rooms are clean and modern. There is quite a variety of room types. They are spread out as well for good views...

My family and I stayed here for Christmas and New Years. The prices were high for the condition of the hotel, kind of run down, but it was a holiday period. The hotel has clean adequate 3-star rooms with better 4-star villas that are well laid out and much nicer than the rooms. The bell staff was extremely lazy and...

We had searched for a hotel and team that could arrange several boat and land excursions while we were on the island. The Royal Palm and their staff more than exceeded our expectations on this, coordinating 3 boat trips and 3 land trips. The food was very good, and when we were unable to make it back for a meal,...

Our group of 4 adults and 3 teenage girls found the accommodations very good, and Royal Palm resort an excellent base for a visit to the wonders of Galapagos for a family like ours which prefers to avoid cruises whenever possible. The food was excellent, the service at a very high standard and the tours arranged by the hotel excellent.

Small group tour, wife and I were booked into a villa, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We found all aspects of this stay to be comfortable and pleasant. Dinner's were very good, buffet breakfast was more than satisfactory. Thanks to the staff and manager of this property, job well done.

First off, the staff and service were excellent. Gustavo was especially attentive and friendly. But the prices were very high. I did not think that the upgrade for the villa was worth it. Seemed like the villas needed some interior work and especially the large view windows needed simple cleaning. Unfortunately, We were surprised with a very high bill at...

Thank you for your comments especially congratulating our service; we pride ourselves on providing a friendly and efficient service for our guests, to make everyone feel at home. Unfortunately, prices are higher in the Galapagos compared to the mainland due to transport costs and ever-increasing government taxes on imports. These prices are not exclusive to the Royal Palm; the majority of...

This is the location chosen by Smithsonian for their Machu Picchu/Galapagos trip. We were given a villa when we booked our trip as the regular rooms were sold out. Let me say that I would only stay in a villa on this property. They are huge, 4 room villas that include a living room with fireplace, bedroom with TV and...

Stayed in a Villa which was very roomy and extremely quite great sleeping. The rooms could use some updating. The staff was very good. The only issue was birds in the eating area they were all over the food everyday no covering of the food.

Dear Robert Thank you for your comments. I would like to inform you that since your visit we have addressed the problem of the Finches entering the Restaurant. We have installed mosquito-netted doors throughout the Restaurant, so hopefully this will be a deterrent. Warm regards from the Galapagos highlands, Sue
