I used this hotel as a base to travel the islands.I was a little dubious at first but it turend out to be perfect. It was perfectly located on a street just behind the main street, 30 seconds walk to the fish market. It was also exceptionally quiet which meant i always got a great sleep. The owner was always there... More

My first impression was just okay, but this place is really pretty decent. All of the places on the island are not like your average US hotels, but this was place has a very accommodating staff that prepared and served breakfasts, made some calls for us, and seemed friendly and interested in our activities. You can walk almost anywhere except... More

I'll preface this review by saying the people who own this hotel are extremely distant family members of mine. I am however fair, so you can trust what I'm stating below. The hotel was clean. On any island you can expect tiny lizards running through your room. No surprise there. The A/C was necessary even in November and made the... More

This hotel is a great place to stay for a couple of nights. It is clean with a great location on a quiet street. The rooms are large, but sparse. The bathrooms are small and cramped, but clean. The breakfast has eggs either fried or scrambled with fruit.

My family and i stayed here for a week. The staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good, served cheerfully and they remember how you like your eggs so after a couple of days it feels homey. My daughter has allergies and they were accommodating. Our room was thoroughly cleaned every day. We had comfortable beds. The hotel is on... More

The rooms are very basic but clean and includes a small refrigerator. The bathroom is very small but the shower had great water pressure! Breakfast was included every morning and was a great start to our day- it included scrambled eggs, basket of bread, fresh juice, and fresh fruit. The location and price of this hotel is what convinced me... More

The Pelican Bay feels like a Greek hotel in the 1980s. Clean enough but basic and in need of a good lick of paint. We were initially told that a room we had booked with a safety deposit box was not available but pushing harder suddenly found a room. After that hiccup service was friendly and helpful. Small pool with... More

This hotel has a wonderful location near the fishermen's wharf. The breakfast was made fresh, guests just went to the dining area and asked for it cooked the way they wanted it with fresh fruit and juices provided. The staff were always most helpful in giving advice and directions, fresh water always available and my room was large. The pool,... More

Sergio the manager provided excellent service throughout the nearly one week that I stayed at Hotel Pelican Bay. It started with a friendly email before I arrived that very usefully informed me of the complicated path from the airport to the hotel via a bus, ferry and taxi. I was glad to have him arrange a driver to meet me... More

Visited as a large party of 22 staying over a week on a diving holiday. Rooms were clean, well maintained but basic -but was exactly what we wanted. Breakfast consisted of fruit salad, pancakes and juices and was more than adequate. Staff friendly and always smiling. Better than expected.
