Very good hotel in a wonderful location. Staff are attentive & helpful, rooms are all air conditioned. We had resident sea lions, iguanas & bird life on the hotel deck. Food was OK, buffet style. We had 3 crossings to different islands, bring sea sickness remedy if you suffer from travel sickness. We enjoyed our stay & would recommend.

We won an amazing 5 day Darwin Tour of the Galapagos from the Red Mangrove Lodges. It was amazing! The lodges were great and the tour guide was knowledgeable and took great care of every aspect of the tours. The hotel staff very friendly and we loved being surrounded by the iguanas, sea lions, and beautiful birds. We added an...

The Red Mangrove Aventura Lodge provided a great location as our adventure home base. As most people who stayed here, we stayed here at the start and end of our Red Mangrove organized 3 lsland Galapagos adventure. The hotel is in a great spot...away from the somewhat crowded feel (crowded for the Galapagos) of the rest of the town but...

We were on a 4 night 5 day Darwin Tour of the Galapagos. Arriving at the lodge and walking out on the deck you are greeted by marine iguanas, seals and various birds, I wasn't sure if I'd be uncomfortable around some of these animals being so close, but instead I fell in love! It's the most rewarding experience to...

I booked my land based Galapagos trip through Juan Fernando Arizaga of Travelzoo and it was beyond fantastic! Juan added extra days in the Galapagos and an extra day in Quito at the end and turned a short 5 day adventure into a longer more leisurely trip. We were able to see more of Santa Cruz Island on our own,...

We did the 5 day Darwin short triangle through the Red Mangrove lodges. It was a fantastic trip. I have only praise for the program. We stayed in Red Mangrove lodges on Santa Cruz, Floreanna and Isabella. The lodges are all excellent, our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and we saw incredible sights. They arrange everything, move your luggage to...

Our family just returned from our trip here (we stayed at both the Aventura Lodge and their lodge on Isabela Island). My husband and I and our daughters had an amazing time experiencing the wonders of the Galapagos. Truthfully, I didn't know what to expect since my husband planned the trip (and ended up packing the wrong kind of clothes)....

My wife and I arrived in the Galapagos islands and stayed our first night in an inexpensive guest house. We had planned on scheduling tours on our own. However, we quickly realized this would result in most of our time spent traveling by boat and would still be rather expensive. We discussed hiring a cruise or doing one of the...

Great service, accomadations, food was awesome and staff goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. I would definetly recommend both Divers lodge and Aventura lodge for lodging and eating. The 3 island trip and diving services are amazing! We all had a blast! Transportation (shuttles/boats) are all handled for you as well as taking care of your bags...

We stayed here three nights during a 7 days land based Galapagos tour. The location was lovely, but the deck was undergoing major reconstruction so we could not sit out and appreciate the views. Our room was not ready, so they gave us another room for the first night and then had to move to another room for the next...
