Really cannot understand the reason of so many good reviews!!! This bring serious doubts on the method of evalation of Tripadvisor. I found nothing in this hotel: room with old (and old stye) furniture. No breakfast, no restos in the neighboor (minimum 2 miles). Strong...More
Thank you for the warm welcome we received when arriving for our one night stay. A large spacious room with a fireplace that was turned on as it was a bit chilly outside this night. It was also superclean. It was quiet and we had...More

The Horizon Inn is along a major route and, I think, the Bus Line. But the train into NYC is certainly close. There are many hotels along this same route and some of them have shuttles to the Newark airport. To my knowledge, the Horizon is not one of them. As you drive northward toward the Airport, you go past the Goethals Bridge which connects New Jersey to Staten Island and many links to NYC and JFK. I think that the Horizon is a good value for the money but, even though it is fairly close to the airport, there are other hotels that may be more convenient yet more expensive for possibly less.
