Yes there is a shuttle bus. I believe it goes to the Souk and to the new Soho market. There is also a taxi the waits outside the gate of the hotel. The hotel has a taxi service, but they want $20 USD for round trip to the Souk. I haggled them down to 200 LE. In Cairo I was in a taxi for 45 minutes and the price was less than $3 USD.
