We stayed here over December 2021 and had a great time. From the moment we arrived, we were taken care of by Ayman who greeted us at reception. He explained the check-in process, took us to see some rooms and stated that if we thought they were not right, they can accommodate some of the other blocks, which we did in the end. Kids are young so we wanted rooms a bit more central within the resort, which Ayman arranged literally straight away. He even told us to have a look around and have lunch whilst they prepared the rooms, which was a great gesture. The staff were all very helpful, 2 massive water parks, swimming pools, a few were heated which was good as it can get a little chilly in December. Kids loved the wave pool which was also heated. Great coffee shop where you can just relax and enjoy, rooms were clean, comfortable, food was good although sometimes can be a bit repetitive, but the staff work their socks off. One thing to maybe think about, a separate drinks area where alcohol is not being served would be good, as there can easily be contamination with the soft drinks. There are a few mosques nearby (you will regular hear the call of prayer throughout the day/evening), and I respect the fact that all music is turned off during these few minutes, something you don't see everywhere! The closest mosque (Masjid Al_Wa'il) is just around the corner (in between Aqua Blue Hotel and Aqua Park Hotel), took 10mins walking from my room which was convenient. Walk further up and you will find some shops and a mall (Mango Market), and even a MacDonald’s if you fancy it! Taxis were cheap if you flag them down just outside the hotel or slightly up the road, we visited Al-Sahaba Mosque, Al-Mustafa Mosque, and a crocodile show, etc which were all nearby. The rooms are very clean and beds comfortable and the cleaning staff are excellent. There are mosquitoes and if you take some precaution, it’s not too bad. We used the Jungle spray and bands, which seemed to have worked well. Wi-Fi wasn't great, but we got a SIM card from the airport as soon as we landed which gives 18GB data which was plenty. We hardly used 5GB and were using it all the time, came handy when completing all the passenger locator forms and Covid testing etc. The evening entertainment could be better for the kids especially as it goes dark at approx. 5pm during the winter months. However, the animation team who run it all couldn't be friendlier. For the checkout, our flight didn't leave until 7pm so I asked about late checkout. I asked a few people regarding this; some were not very helpful, but Ayman again came to the rescue! We just needed a few hours extra in the room, and he arranged everything yet again! That man should be running this resort as he seems to have all the answers and understands what customer service is! All in all, a great experience, thanks Aqua Blu!…

We have been in Sharm many times, but in Aqua Blu it was our first. Hotel is nice and you never get bored - so many slides and also you can use Aqua Park area. Food is also good - unfortunately i don´t remember the name, but we meet really nice guy there, who hold us every meal the same table - as we had 6 persons, it was great! :) Special thanks also to reception - I am very grateful to them for all their help! :) We loved our animation team and all activities with them in Aqua Blu! My 6year old son totally loves Chris :) ;) :) We all do! ;) In animation team special thanks to Chris, Dino, Pepsi and all others - girls tooooo! We danced much, played darts (with Nastja), made wateraerobic etc.. The beach is a bit away, but not far - on foot 5min. Hope to see you all soon again!…
