Wonderful place, wonderful hospitality and totally relaxing. You think the view from your accommodation is stunning - it is. Then ask Collin can you stand on her personal deck for a few minutes (no probs), you will be blown away. The owner (Collin) is passionate about bettering the lives of the local community, so you don't only holiday you feel...

Lomalagi is the place you go to when you need to leave the world behind, wake up to magical views of the bay, spend the day swimming in the pool, taking a boat ride out with Sam to see the dolphins, picnic on a deserted beach, watch the sun go down and have dinner under the stars.

We decided to stay at lomalagi because it was isolated, limited to only 6 separate bure's (fairly large and independent structures-larger than my one bedroom apartment in Chicago with full bath, including tub and separate shower and kitchen), adults only but mosly because of the pod of native spinner dolphins that live about a 20 minute boat ride from the...

It all starts with Collin McKenny (and her faithful friend Simba) and all of the wonderful people of Fiji who make it all happen. The local Fijian staff treated us like family and friends. The food is amazing from the excellent breakfast choices picked the night before delivered to your bure, the incredible lunches and beyond incredible dinners following cocktail...

My husband and I went on our second honeymoon a week ago. We had a phenomonal time at Lomalagi. The customer service was exceptional and the three course meals were well, put it this way I wanted to bring the cook back home with me. The accomodations and hospitality were superb and we most certainly want to go back. Thanks...

Having never been to Fiji, we were looking forward to the trip of a lifetime. After booking our stay at Lomalagi, Collin, the owner, was gracious enough to send us information about how best to take advantage and make the most of our trip. You have the reins on whether you relax in solitude or engage in activities such as...

We spent a wonderful week at Lomalagi from 31 August 2008. The view is magically beautiful, the ocean is crystal clear, warm & peaceful, full of fish. The whole property is cared for wonderfully & it is really quiet. You can hear the ocean & sometimes a coconut falling to the ground. Collin is a really lovely lady & uniquelly...

My husband and I spent a wonderful 5 days at Lomalagi Resort near Savusavu, Fiji, last January. We wanted a quiet, relaxed, private place after our tour of New Zealand, and we found it! The grounds are so beautiful, as you approach you feel like you're going into another world. A green, tropical palm world. The villas are spacious and...

We stayed at this resort for our honeymoon, and we paid far too much for far too little. Colin is very nice and concerned that her guests have a nice time, and has a lovely website. The setting, a coconut plantation looking over the bay, is quite beautiful. However, in the tropics when paying a small fortune, I think it’s...

SimbaFiji, Resident Owner at Lomalagi Resort ~ Fiji, responded to this review

I remember this couple but not for the reasons stated here -- they never said a word about being uncomfortable. This review makes it sound like they were here for quite a while when in fact their stay was only 3 days. The small resorts in Fiji rarely have a/c -- or if they do, the rates are US$1,000/night or...
