Where do I start? Beautiful, Heartfelt Kindness, nestled within a spectacular tropical environment with a short walk down the driveway to the beach. The buildings are well spaced without a sense of openness. There is a spacious pool as well as a yoga chalet with a great view. The yoga chalet is well stocked with required equipment. We felt safe...

Daku The Shining Gem in the Last Paradise From the Bula Welcome with ice cold frozen drinks at reception to the tearful departure at the end we truly enjoyed our time at the Daku resort! We stayed for the month of February. We knew it was rainy season, so mentally we prepared ourselves for some time to relax, bond and...

I recently stayed at Daku as a group leader for a Road Scholar program. It was my first trip to Fiji and I had heard about the warm-heartedness and hospitality of Fijians but was unprepared for the level of kindness that I would experience. While at Daku, I felt like we were treated as family. Aubrey, George and Peggy were...

I travelled to Daku Resort to do a week long yoga course in January with the lovely and amazing Pam Badman, and it was a week of bliss and divine relaxation. I could not have had a better week away. Daku Resort is a 3 star resort with a 5 star heart! I was travelling on my own and I...

This was my first trip to Fiji as a Road Scholar group leader and we stayed at Daku for 5 days. The resort is clean and quiet and the rooms range from small studios to big shared units with a common kitchen/living room with sundeck and private pool. Daku is a mid-range resort and caters to variety of travelers and...

Jessica and Peggy really make this resort worth the stay. They are professional and accommodating, always willing to think outside the box and make things happen. Bring a good book, an app that doesn't need a lot of speed, checkers, etc. if you were hoping for a yoga class or family meal, let them know ahead of time, this is...

I spetn 5 days at Daku during a snorkeling trip with Rpad Scholar. There were 10 in our group. My room was spacious and homey, with a gorgeous view of the grounds and the ocean across a country street. The room had many of the amenities I prefer: drawers and shelves and surfaces to unpack and put things away, a...

My girlfriend and I stayed at Daku resort for 10 magical days a few weeks ago and were dying to share our experience. George who was in charge of looking after the staff was a delight and with the other staff, made us feel very welcome and at home. Our room had a lovely 'bure' vibe to it and looked...

Decided to take a two week trip through Fiji over Christmas, seeing a bit of everything: Savusavu, Yasawa Islands and Coral Coast. The Daku resort was a great starting point! Savusavu was hit by a tropical cyclone in the first few days of our visit and this made the outside world less appealing than it looked from the porch, but...
