We stayed at Wananavu Beach Resort for a week. We really enjoyed the location, their beach, kayaking, and our very private bure. However, we found the visibility while diving to be somewhat disappointing...

The resort was clean and well maintained. The food was very delicious with large portions followed with scrumptious desserts. The dive operation was very organized and took great care of our gear, i was very impressed with the padded container on the boat to keep my camera in. Our last night a local village came to play traditional music and... More

We found the resorts location and setting with the gardens, pool area very relaxing. The garden bures are dated and can be very dark inside. The prices of the meals were on the expensive side for average meals. Having to buy bottle water which was not cheap when most other resorts supply it. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Stayed at Wananavu on recommendation by Ratu Kulu from Mana & was looked after by Illy. Pick up at the Airport & the 2 & a half hour drive was enjoyable. I could see the real fiji on the way & the Driver was exceptional & looked after us when we needed to stop for some Scenery Pics. The Drive... More

Laid back and relaxed place for excellent diving . My second visit here and expectations on my return were well met . I am not an experienced diver , but the dive crew all looked after me and made my dives great . Hotel staff all typically Fijian , with big smiles and friendly service . When there are experienced... Wanananu Resort is situated closed to Rakiraki, very pleasant city to see, especially the market. The road to access the resort is a bit bumpy, we might want to rent a SUV if you drive there on your own. We had a beautiful private villa on the hill, with an awesome view on the ocean. The diving spots are the... More

My wife and I can't say too much about our stay at Wananavu Resort. Our main purpose was R&R, including as much diving and dancing as we could do. (They have a great band.) When we arrived on Saturday afternoon, my wife had an earache from the plane flight. The Front Office arranged for a doctors appointment and a transfer... More

I loved my visit to Wananavu-they had a great menu selection from what I saw and had the restaurant staff were quite nice. The wedding coordinator and front receptionist were lovely too but you do have to follow up on a few things to see that they are done or charged or not charged-it didn't annoy me though and staff... The really great thing about this resort, in my opinion, is its remote location: a 2.5 hour drive from Nadi, with the last few miles down a bumpy dirty road. The resort was anything but a cookie-cutter property. Rooms are in duplex bures (stand-alone bungalows), scattered around the hillside, with views of the ocean. The bures are simple and rustic... Our scuba diving travel agent recommended this place, along with Sau Bay resort off Taveuni (see my review of Sau Bay) for a scuba diving trip to Fiji. First, let me say this is written from the perspective of someone coming from the east coast of the US, so the review might have been somewhat different if we had come... More
