The really great thing about this resort, in my opinion, is its remote location: a 2.5 hour drive from Nadi, with the last few miles down a bumpy dirty road. The resort was anything but a cookie-cutter property. Rooms are in duplex bures (stand-alone bungalows), scattered around the hillside, with views of the ocean. The bures are simple and rustic...

Our scuba diving travel agent recommended this place, along with Sau Bay resort off Taveuni (see my review of Sau Bay) for a scuba diving trip to Fiji. First, let me say this is written from the perspective of someone coming from the east coast of the US, so the review might have been somewhat different if we had come...

We had a short 3 night stay while we were visiting around the island. Very clean and welcoming. Beachfront bure was very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool. The food was very good and a nice variety as well. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The diving was incredible. The dive shop and staff were terrific. There was only...

Stayed here for 3 nights (should have stayed for 7) 15-18 Sep. Tremendous 2 1/2 hour drive from Nadi. This is a very secluded and quiet resort (compared to the noise of Naviti) plenty to do, swimming, Tennis, snorkeling, Island golf and boasts some of the best Diving in the world. Bures could do with a refurb but this resort...

Bures are a bit small and dated but still comfortable. Nothing much to dobut unless you are a diver. Food is good and there is a nice variety. Beach is minimal but clean. Great view from bures across the water. About a 2.5-3 hour ride from the airport.

After staying at the excellent GPH in Suva for our St Joseph's reunion we went to this resort where they had difficulty retrieving our booking.com. The bure was poky & dark with 10 watt bulbs & no amenities: they offered to divide the double bed to make twins in a tiny room. We offered to pay their $500 charge for...

n a secluded spot 2 miles from Kings Road, this luxe oceanfront resort is 7 km from Ellington Wharf for sailings to Nananu-i-Cake Island. Offering garden or ocean views, rustic-chic rooms come with Wi-Fi, patios, and tea and coffeemakers. Some offer extra bedrooms or private plunge pools. Beachfront villas have kitchens, dining areas and washer/dryers. Wi-Fi is available. Free breakfast...

It's a great place to get away from it all. So the isolation from the main touristy places is a big attraction. The rooms were very nice, spacious, clean and comfortable. A place to shower, sleep and clean up. Most of the time I loved just laying on the hammock on the beach area, reading, listening to music, napping and...

Booked the Wananvu Resort as it was the only option open in the aftermath of Cyclone Winston, it was a great choice. Booked an ocean view room which was very comfortable Bure-style. Breakfast was simple but included a hot meal from the menu in addition to cereals, fruit, etc from a buffet. Ate some other meals in the restaurant which...
