I have been trying to confirm my hotel reservation for 2 weeks, which has been paid in full. They require that the hotel be contacted prior to departure for Covid protocols. I have sent over 10 emails and 10 direct call (none have been answered). I cannot imagine staying here

We booked our one night through Costco Travel. When we got in at 1:30am, we were told we'd been upgraded to an ocean view room (#5108 I think, on the first floor above ground level). Beautiful big room with a view of the pool and lagoon and a nice little kitchen for us to make coffee in the morning. Knowing there would be a hot water pot but only instant coffee, we packed our own ground coffee with Melitta filters and filter holder. There were 3 coffee mugs. Perfect. We had also read that the mattresses were extremely firm, so I brought a soft down toddler pillow to use under my waist while sleeping on my side and to use under my head while sleeping on my back (he hotel's pillows are very thick). It was a comfortable arrangement and I woke up without a stiff back. My husband likes a very firm mattress so he had no problem. Breakfast was only served until 9am so we skipped it and just had lunch when the restaurant opened at noon. The warm bread was wonderful, and so was the poisson cru. The fish of the day was emperor fish in curry sauce and it was absolutely delicious.

We spent one night at the resort. The resort is conveniently close to the airport, about 10 minutes. We arrived from the states very early. The friendly receptionist at the front desk (I can’t remember her name. ) let us know that our room wouldn’t be ready until 2:00 pm, however she gave us our room around 11:30 am. Our room was ocean view with a nice balcony overlooking the pool. There was plenty of closet space, a nice bathroom with the toilet in it’s own room and a kitchen. We had no plans to cook, but I guess some people might want to cook on vacation. Our package included breakfast. The breakfast was a typical buffet although we were also entitled to a selection from the menu. No complaints here. There is one restaurant onsite. The prices are high, but so is everywhere else. We were there on barbecue night. They gave you plenty of good barbecue for the price. I order the sample platter with grilled ribs, sausage, lamb, corn on the cob and French fries. We didn’t do anything in the area as this was just a stop on our way to our next destination. There is a small store in walking distance to stock up on supplies at a lower price point. I also understand there are food trucks nightly that sell local food. We didn’t have the energy to venture out. In conclusion, I would stop here again for a night, but I don’t think I would spend a week here.

We stayed here for one night on our way to other islands. We had a fantastic beach front room with fantastic views. The room was large and even had a small kitchen with small refrigerator, microwave and 2 burner cooktop. The bathroom was large and there was plenty of closet space. There is a small beach area and an infinity edge pool which overlooks the water. Our room rate included breakfast which was buffet style with the option to order hot items off the menu. It was all very good. We also had one dinner there and my only complaint was that it was extremely limited for vegetarians. The only thing I could order was an appetizer of grilled veggies with mozzarella cheese. The hotel was about an 10-15 minute ride from the airport. There is also a convenience store a short walk away which was a great place to pick up reasonably priced water and snacks.

It's a nice enough hotel for our 2 day stay, but the day trippers they Llow in to use the facility destroy the otherwise peaceful tranquil. It turns the infinity pool into a party pool. We would not stay here again unless and until they stop allowing in daytrippers.
