I was sent to Hyderabad for work in December 2019. We were able to select the Sheraton (Marriott) which made me happy.
The property is very nice and pretty well maintained, although I had some minor issues (see below). Rooms are good sized and well-appointed. I didn’t use the pool or workout room so can’t comment on that. The customer service is amazing and rivals the JW properties where I’ve stayed. Staff is attentive, caring, and nothing was too big of a challenge to address. Megha Shaw was regularly checking on me and ensuring my visit was comfortable.
I was quite nervous only because I am a Type 1 Diabetic and have Celiac. I knew it would be tough eating outside the hotel and even in the hotel. The Chef (Chinmay Panda) did EVERYTHING possible to ensure I didn’t get sick and felt comfortable while there. He walked me through the buffet to point out the GF items, made my meals in the back as needed, ensured no cross contamination, and even made some special meals for me (and my business companion). This reminded me of the JW in Marco Island, Florida. Chef Panda is a great guy and one of the better chefs I’ve encountered in my business travels since 1991.
We ate at Feast (their buffet) and Zega restaurant on the 17th floor. Both were very good and all good was tasty. Keep in mind I had to eat GF and didn’t have anything where I could get sick from cross contamination or from rinsing with local water (no breads, no fruit, etc).
I had a few issues that did come up and should be shared. First, my luggage was lost by airlines on the way to Hyderabad from the US. This was horrible since I didn’t have a change of close in my carry-on. Megha made sure the hotel had someone following up and got me my luggage as soon as possible (2nd day there). Second, the side window in my room was pushed out slightly and couldn’t be closed since the handle was broken off. Unfortunately a maintenance guy (kid) was sent to fix it and didn’t even have the appropriate tools. Since this kept me up the night before (street noise) I asked to change rooms and the front desk obliged. After moving me to 2nd floor I asked to be moved again. The noise from the lobby area (open to 2nd floor rooms) and humidity from the pool area was too much. After moving to a separate building of apartments and then back to the hotel (17th floor) I was set. Third, unfortunately I had some bugs in my room and had to kill one (see pic) on the bed and have housekeeping come and change the sheets. Housekeeping was there within about 15 minutes to change the sheets and check/kill any other bugs.
All in all this hotel is very nice, staff and chefs are amazing, and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone that will be visiting Hyderabad.

In the pandemic condition Sheraton hotel has managed all its sanitisation work properly. There staff was very gentle and the stay was very comfortable and complete sanitised. When come to Restaurant Chef Abhay has cooked a delicious food for the family and has offer multiple and special dishes which were very nice. It was very pleasurable stay.

Sharaton Hyderabad is one of the best hotels to stay in Hyderabad and to experience premium service. From the time you check in and till the time you check out, they leave no chance to bring a smile on your face. This stay of mine was very shot planned and I had to call the hotel at 1 am at night if they have a room to onboard me at 4am, and the only answer they have is “you are very welcome and the room will be ready for you”. Can’t expect more flexibility with a reservation. Everyone greets you with a big smile which will make anyone’s day. Rooms are very well done and the housekeeping does the best job to keep it top notch and clean. The restaurants are delight to be even in the sensitive days of COVID 19. Even visiting after year and half, there isn’t much change to the experience what Sharaton Hyderabad provided me. From breakfast to lounge, the food tastes so good. The chefs are always around to check your preferences and make sure everything is right. I was very skeptical on staying outside personal space due to current pandemic situations, but when I wanted, the only place I thought of is Sheraton Hyderabad. Everyone at the hotel maintained social distancing and all common spaces looked and smelled very clean and hygienic. I would specially call out the chefs and front desk who will make your stay really comfortable. Thank you Abhay and Megha for the wonderful experience. If you are new to the town or visiting for leisure, this is one of the best places to be. A friend of mine who accompanied me on this visit, first timer to Sheraton Hyderabad, actually was so impressed that he is planning a stay here with his family soon just for leisure. We had a wonderful staycation with Sheraton over a weekend. The best part about the stay was the food. We had sous-chef Abhay Kumar And host Presila give us special welcome. The chef made sure he made one of his signature dishes at breakfast every day. Presila was warm and attentive and very friendly. The room turndown service was also perfect and the housekeeping staff were readily available whenever we called them. The only thing which we weren’t as happy about was the check in, which wasn’t as warm as we expected, when we asked about room upgrade (which was part of the package) without taking a look, the person just said we did not have such a upgrade. But later someone else came and verified that we did.
Overall lovely experience and the best food we’ve had in a long while.

We have been staying in Sheraton since Wednesday (Jan 1st 2020). We will be here for 2 more days. Our stay so far has been excellent. Rooms are spacious. Super clean. The staff here are v friendly and take care of every small need of ours. We are here for our daughter’s south zone swimming championship and everything that we need for her diet has been provided to us at all odd hours. The food is awesome . Special mention to Arjun and the chef Abhay - for taking care of us during breakfast / lunch / dinner. Arjun has ensured that we get the best service at the table, very friendly, hospitable and the right fit for the hospitality industry. Abhay has made some great tea for us , comes to our table to check if there is anything that he can make for us.. after the rooms get cleaned everyday we find a small, friendly note asking us if we liked the cleaning. My daughter also leaves behind a note saying Thank You :-). Overall a great place to stay and I will recommend this to everyone .

Overall very good experience staying. Highly recommend the restaurant with courteous staff, proper precautions were taken without compromising on the customer service.
Need some work on the upkeep of other areas of the hotel. Understandably not all the facilities were open due to covid, but the places accessible to guests should be been better cleaned-up or maintained (ex: pool on the 11th floor).

I was pleased by the hospitality of each and every member of this hotel during our short staycation. Got free upgrade on arrival. Was surprised by the pleasant behaviour of the host. Quite surprisingly we realised the management at the restaurant was fascinating. To keep food hygiene and safe there was no buffet but Chef Abhay and the waiters took excellent care of us and was willing to customize the food to our choice. Even during the peak time the chef managed to visit our table and made sure everything was perfect. The food quality was perfect. Had an amazing time. Would love to visit again.

I am staying for 1 week at the Sheraton Hyderabad and the service and food here is simply awesome. Everyone is so attentive and hospitable always checking on their guests Chef Ruheen makes great home cooked style food which is simple yet delicious which is pleasant surprises that compliments the great buffet choices She is kind, friendly and serves with smile. Chef Pradeep chef de cusine is total professional great experience working in many hotels He was kind enough to ask about my stay and what kind of food I like. He surprised me as the next day when I walked into the restaurant he had it made for me an item outside the menu and it was great. Abha’s another chef was also kind and friendly. Housekeeping was great My Special thanks to Yaman who was the most attentive staff arranging cabs for me to pick up and drop me off at work and helped me get a better room. He was my go to person if I had any questions on things to do. We stayed here at the end of our holiday to India, and were blown away by the quality of service provided throughout our visit.
Coming to a business class hotel was a bit risky for us as we prefer to stay in smaller boutique style hotels when travelling. We needed to have no concerns, as although the service was very professional, it was also personable and friendly. In fact, by the time we left, we certainly felt that we’d made a lot of new friends.
The interactions we had with everyone there were top-class and we’d have no hesitation in recommending the hotel, and would definitely return if ever we come to Hyderabad again.
