Had been to Ahmedabad with my family during the first week of December. I choose this stay based on the reviews and keeping in view the eye we have for ethnic living. We were not at all disappointed. The place is beautifully done with authentically traditional accessories and furnishings. The hospitality is also commendable. The best part is that, even...

I have not stayed at the hotel, but the Gujarati Thali at the rooftop is amazing with superb ambience. This is a must visit place for restaurant and food lovers. I would say its a little pricey but worth it for that special occasion.

Dear Guest, Thank you for such an encouraging review. We value your appreciation for the food and ambience at Agashiye. As you have rightly pointed out, with regards to the pricing at Agashiye we believe that Rs.935/- + Taxes (Regular Lunch/Dinner - Weekdays) & Rs.1265/- + Taxes (Deluxe Lunch/Dinner - Weekdays) and Rs.1035/- + Taxes (Regular Lunch/Dinner - Weekends/Public Holidays)...

This is the place every foreigner must try. I would say locals too. It's contemporary yet traditional and authentic. Great food. Great service. Beautiful ambience. Much better than Swati snacks. Also check out its thali restaurant and the sidi sayed mosque opposite it.

Hotel looks old and dilapidated. It is located at the crossroad of major traffic streets leading to lots of noise. The property has added on space over the years resulting in quite a cramped space and haphazard layout.

The hotel is fine, good restaurants and good position in the old city but at the same time too expensive for what we got. We booked a suite for four people and only had two single beds and landed up having two mattresses on the floor and although it was holiday time there seemed no real management on offer. I...

Absolutely horrible experience! Room assigned to us had walls covered in damp, whole room was stinking of damp. And even the bed sheet were wet as a result of dampness in room! This room was far from habitable. Unless you want to die of pneumonia, never go to this hotel. To top it all staff members have serious attitude issue...

First The Good - This hotel has nice staff who are always happy to help (Thank you especially to Monica!) The decor is in the main, charming and someone has tried hard with the interior design aspect of this hotel. It has character and nice little nooks downstairs (sadly, inside only) where you can sit with a book. The older...

This is the style of hotel that was the norm some 20 years ago. In a heritage building where some lapses in infrastructure can be forgiven, but where this also extends to a service level which exhibits either haughty indifference or infuriating stupidity. Our level 0 room was in fact below street level, approached along service corridors next to the...

I booked this hotel for 2 nights for my mom and my aunts as they were traveling in Gujarat. They said the hotel wasn't worth the price at all. Firstly, when they checked in, they were given a room in the basement. There were no windows and the walls were wet due to water seepage. They refused to accept that...

Formerly home of Mangaldas Girdhardas this heritage home has been converted into a beautiful hotel, retaining the original theme and culture. Rooms are spacious with period furniture to give the feeling of living in old times. The hotel has a roof top restaurant serving Gujarati Thali super delicious though pricey. The hotel has a textile gallery which stocks heirlooms. There...
