The Hari Niwas Palace was the Royal residence of Maharaja Hari Singh and his descendents. The erstwhile palace has been converted into a small mid range hotel overlooking the massive Manawar Tawi River. The rooms have all been transformed and complete sections rebuilt to bring in a hotel like uniformity thereby leaving only the common areas with an old world...

I stayed here with my husband. And the place made our stay a royal stay. We both enjoyed the stay too much. Room was good well maintained. Rooms are spacious. The well maintained garden adds to its value. I loved the place.

The hotel can be classified as a Heritage hotel and is an excellent choice for stay in Jammu. It is located on the way to Katra and is about a 20 min drive from the city centre. All rooms are in a single building on the otherwise spread out property and are well furnished. The garden overlooks the Tawi riverbed...

The place is aristocratic, serene and esteemed. The services are customer friendly and customised. Food is excellent. Great value for money at Jammu. Highly recommended for superb experience in dining especially for couples or even families.

This was our first trip to India for our daughters wedding. Staff was always available and extremely helpful. The three day Hindu Kashmiri celebration was spectacular. Our hosts, the grooms parents, worked with the hotel several times to arrange and personalize the three days of ceremonies. Several rooms and the lawn garden were venues. Staff worked seamlessly to change rooms,...
