You get the best view of Dal lake and and a spectacular view of moonrise from the back of mountains. Property is beautiful with beautiful gardens. The flowers in Kashmir look extra happy. Our cottage also had Dal lake view. We enjoyed kashmiri kahwa tea watching the sunset.

Location of Hotel is the best,but rooms are required to be updated with Smart Tv and USB Port, regarding freshness of food to be served in its infinity restaurant, i m having my doubts. indoor swimming pool is missing and cleanliness of outdoor swimming pool is difficult to be maintained due to some flying white cotton type dust,so outdoor swimming is not so cleaned

For the technology change gadgets we are already in process to upgrade the product and most of the things will be changed in future . About the food we would like to inform that there is no compromise on quality and freshness of food at the hotel , please do let us know exact details so that we can verify from the Executive Chef and team. The outdoor pool has certain limitation and the pollen in the air in May month are prevalent across the valley, we shall look into the absolute cleanliness even though weather challenges are high. We have taken up these matters with the team heads and senior management and will surely have a proper process in place to ensure quality and high standards. A pleasure to be there. View is just one of best one can ask for, specially from the rooms on higher floors. Very curtious team, the GM himself reaches out if need be and assures one’s comfort. Food at restaurant can be better but the team puts in all their efforts to meet the expectations. Over all a fab experience.

We stayed a week at Vivanta Dal View during the Tulip Festival in Sringar in April 2023. The view from the room was spectacular; we savoured the glorious sunsets and the full moon by night, reflected on the waters of the Dal Lake. The service was impeccable and the food consistently wholesome. The GM, Mr Jitendra Chand, took very good care of the guests and the travel desk worked excellently for us on all days
