The best part of the stay in this guesthouse is the hospitality of Mr. Dorjee, his family & his staff. Very polite & decent . Rooms are neat ,wash rooms clean . Has three categories of rooms. The property has a couple of fruit bearing Apple trees along with a kitchen garden. The food served is hygenic & ok types....

I stayed here along with my best friend for a week while on our ladakh trip. The people here are too good. They were always very helpful. The breakfast they provide is amazingly good and they have their own farm garden too. Mr Dorje was very helpful and I fell in love with the place and the people.

The place is a bit tricky to find, as Google maps did not provide the right route. However, it is known locally so with couple of queries you can find it out. The place was a home extended to a guest house. Neat and clean rooms, nothing fancy though. He serves breakfast, lunch & dinner, however needs advance notice especially...

The guesthouse is very comfortable and clean at a very reasonable price. Mr Dorjee is a very friendly man who would go an extra mile just to make you feel like home. He and his family are very friendly and genuine people. I had a very wonderful stay with them. I highly recommend this place!!

Where to begin? First of all my stay at Dorje and his wife was my absolute highlight of my one month northern India trip. He and his wife and two kids are basically the perfect way to start your trip trough the Tibetan culture. First of all the prices are really good, the rooms are clean, quiet, comfortable and neat....

The guesthouse is clean and comfortable enough for a backpacker. It is a middle-sized building some distance away (10-15 mins walk) from the centre of the town. Dorje, who is the owner, is very friendly and speaks some English. The rest of his family, who also live there, unfortunately not so much. Cons: sometimes I wished somebody there spoke English...

Even though we stayed in the standard room with shared bathroom, it was very clean and the room was spacious. The linen was clean and the room was clean. It is a 5 minute walk to the main Leh market and is quiet and peaceful. The family is lovely and Dorje looks like Jackie Chan! :-)

I have stayed at this establishment twice. Once, a few years ago, and recently with a group of friends after having a most pleasant stay the first time around. Mr. Dorje's establishment may very well be the best of old school guest houses in Leh but with a caveat. It's perfect for solo travelers or couples. But big groups or...

This Guest House is just 10 minutes walk from the town center. Very friendly and very helpful family, who already helped me in many situations. Airport transfers and excursions are of course. The rooms are big and clean. I go there for 10 years toward love. Atman from Germany

I stayed here some years back - in the summer of 2010 and my experience was most pleasant. This is a homestay with a 10 min walk from Leh Bazaar, a little away from the hustle and bustle without being too far. Dorje offers some 6 or 7 rooms (I forget the exact number) in his house. One of the...
