I had a chance to stay at your hotel while I was on a trip to Bangalore with my friends. It was a good relaxing break for us. The front office duty manager Mr. Sonam is very gentle and helpful. He explained us about all the facilities provided by their hotel. He was wearing mask all the time which is very impressive. Sonam and his colleague Payel are very quick with their work and try to avoid any physical contact with their guests while doing so. Both are very pleasant and friendly. Their smile could be easily seen from under their masks as well.
Sonam took us to our room and explained us how our room was properly sanitised and disinfected. We were very happy to see it.
Even the housekeeping employee Mr. Bunny is very good with his work as he provided us with water bottles and all the other stuff within 5-10minutes of our call.
Please convey my best appreciation to Mr. Sonam, Ms. Payel and Mr. Bunny for providing us with best services and making ours stay comfortable.
I would love to comeback again with my family.

My Husband and I stayed at Royal Orchid for the mandatory 1 week institutional quarantine after flying in on a Vande Bharat flight during the COVID19 pandemic. The hotel was listed under 5 star category. The pricing during this pandemic (could be regulated / special rate) was 4100 per night for single occupancy and 5900 for double occupancy inclusive of GST and 3 meals + snack. The rooms were clean ( but could use some upgrades) and the service from concierge and catering was very prompt and hospitable. We also enjoyed a great view of the gardens and golf course. Though we couldn't step out of the room, from our previous visit to this place, it is well located and connected.

We booked 4 rooms for 2 nights. 5 members of our team reached hotel at around 1130 hrs. Thanks to Debolina for giving the rooms us at around 12:30 where in the check in time was 1400 hrs. There was some miscommunication at the time of check in which i would ignore. But again Debolina sorted that out. The rooms are good and specious.
Would also like to mention that the quality and the taste of the food is awesome. The staff in the restaurant at the time of lunch and breakfast are really attentive and are on their feet for any help that you may require. Cheers to you all guys.
The service at the front desk and concierge needs more attention and because of that i have deducted 2 points. You keep calling the frontdesk and they will never respond to you. you make 3-4 calls and they they pick the phone. We asked the reception desk to send someone from housekeeping to collect the laundry and after 2 reminders we got someone in the room. In the night again we called up the reception to check foe the medicine but no one responded the call. I think the training is needed for the front desk staff.
At the time of check out before going to the breakfast we informed the lady at the front desk to get the bills ready and we also mentioned how we wanted the bill to be. later when we came back from the breakfast after 25 min the bills were not ready and we have to wait another 20-25 min at the reception. Sorry is not a solution to this. I think the staff is not attentive and not trained at the front desk.
Would appreciate once again Debolina, The morning and evening door man and the restaurant staff. Guys you are the one who made to 3 star rating and if Front desk was attentive and cared more of the guest i would have given 5 star.

So, I usually dont write reviews, but the worst customer service experience at this hotel compelled me to do it.
1. Checked in late afternoon around 4:00 pm. The hotel was empty, given its covid times. Was made to wait for half an hour - “because we’re re- sanitising the room for your safety” - I thought sounds awesome! But when I enter the room, I find dirty linen, very dirty infact. No particular cleanliness in the bathroom as well. Another 30min go there trying to get someone on the phone to empathise and change the bedsheets! Honestly looking at the bedsheets it felt dirty to even pick up their phone and talk.
2. The room service didn’t have things cited on their own ‘Round the clock’ menu available round the clock. Moreover, outside food is not allowed in the hotel. I can go along with it, but then atleast have your menu items available.
3. Requested for an hour extension on checkout, given all the hassle during check in, I expected a little empathy, and also given the hotel is empty(given Covid), but no the hotel policies are quite unaccommodating.
4. And the worst part was when at 10:00am on my checkout day, room bell rings, by the time I put on my mask and reach the door, someone has already opened it, luckily I remembered to put the safety chain at night which saves the door form being opened ajar. The guy was there to ask for laundry. Seriously?? I’m a single female staying alone and a laundry person has the authority to enter my room by ringing the bell just once ?????? How and why is this okay ? Will NEVER be staying here again, Royal orchid service is not what it used to be once.

The hotel is located between KGA golf course and a drainage on the other side. Hotel is poorly maintained to say the least. Glass is fully dirty, rooms are dirty, toilets are even more dirty and old fittings. Room interiors make you feel like you are in a prison. Swimming pool is not heated, tiles are chipping off, pool side area is the dirtiest and if you want to die then just get into the men's toilet next to the swimming pool.
Amenities: Bed in the room was very old and hard, curtains poor and don't ask about other things.
We were told there would be buffet at Limelight coffee shop, upon turning up with my whole family, we were told a big family is dining so we won't get any buffet. However food here is pretty good especially the starters. Comming to the Tiger trail you better call it a Donkey's tail as the food is mediocre to say the least. They seem to have some road side Dhaba cook doing cooking here. Even the cat which my son was feeding along side the table refused to eat the junk food. I don't even want to call it food. Tiger Trail [Donkey's tail] charged us hefty 3.5k for crap food. We were charged Rs.1,000 for 2 coffee and 1 plate Bajji @ room service.
They made us wait whole 45 mins to even check us in, and during checkout she was insisting to write a review in front of her and made my 70 year old mother stand for 15 mins. Overall highly disappointing & request you to please exercise other options if you can.

This hotel boasts luxury from the time you enter the room. The rooms are very spacious stacked with all the modern amenities/luxuries that a business/non-business traveller would need.
Specially thanks to Mr. Sonam as e duty manager he was taking good care our needs.during check in time he maintained proper hygiene standard, check out time on of the lady Payal she was very helpful & pleasant.
The food at the restaurants is worth mentioning. The value for money is good. Especially the Room service experience is worth remembering.
In housekeeping department bunny very helpful he got us water bottles & tea coffee sachet on time when ever we asked and he also asked us for any other needs
All in all, the stay turns out to be very pleasant.

We checked in on a friday afternoon and it took the front office 30 minutes to check us in!!! There was only one person in front office. We asked for a non smoking room and were asked to sign a declaration and then were led to our room on floor 1. The moment we stepped out of the lift smell of strong smoke hit us.
The corridor had many food leftovers outside some rooms which were an eyesore.
The room was quite good and had a decent view of the lawn.
Next day we wanted a smoothie and when we asked for the same from room service we were informed that the Chef comes in after 8 am only and hence they could not provide us!!
On saturday we were out the whole day and when we returned by evening we found no one had cleaned our room.
It was quite shocking and when we inquired there was no satisfactory response.
Even on saturday the smell of smoke was all pervading and we complained to the front office. They said they will look into it and wanted us to move to another room. When we visited this room (on the 5th floor) the corridors were very damp and we declined to shift.
The only saving grace was F&B. Deepak the manager and Ajay from Odisha took good care of us.
I will avoid this place till they get their act together.

One of the worst experiences ever for a 5 star hotel. I booked a room for one night just to spend some leisure time hoping that I would be able to enjoy the so called 5 star services of this hotel but no common place is available for use due to some holi party going on, swimming pool is not functional, we do not even have a pretty place to just relax and click some pictures. Loud music is continuously playing outside and audible in the room as well. Housekeeping requests have not been catered to for 3 hours. And on top of this when I informed the duty manager Shivam about all these problems, he does not even have the will to apologize or show some courtesy. All he can say is that due to the party we cannot do anything. No open place is available. Literally what 5 star hotel provides an experience like this when I am paying so much for the booking. Please take this seriously and best would be to provide me some sort of compensation because I am never going to book royal orchid hotel again.

Namaste...thank you for your query...the room decoration charges vary as per the decoration type which ranges from INR 2500 - 3500...
No balconies. But there are nooks and corners for smokers haven.
