Wonderful rural homestay experience with yoga and all meals included. Solaman takes extra special care of all his guests. His knowledge of local flora and fauna is extensive, his command of English is excellent and his kind and generous nature is a pleasure to be around. Solaman's wife, Priya, an amazing cook, prepared delicious and varied Kerala meals. In 6...

I feel completely blessed to have stayed with Solaman Joseph and his family who made me so welcome. Solaman's charming wife Priya cooks all the delicious Keralan meals from scratch using local produce most of it from their own farm! Solaman's roof top Hatha yoga classes at dawn and dusk are both atmospheric and transformative. Washing the elephants and swimming...

I stayed at this home stay on the recommendation of my yoga teacher in the uk; the house is in a beautiful setting with less litter and garbage than other parts of Kerala. The bird life was fascinating, the meals were varied interesting and very plentiful. Out of the party of 8 people I was allocated an inner room which...

We stayed with Soloman and his family for two days only (sadly!) but i can still feel the benifits. Soloman is an excellent yoga teacher. His adjustments are gentle but effective and his equally gentle and calm demeanour perfect for yoga. It helps too that you are either on the rooftop with birdsong around you or if the weather dictates...

I came to know about this homestay from another tourist I met in Fort Cochin in 2015. Reviews are very good. So I decided to spend 2 weeks here with my boyfriend with the intention of just relaxing and practising yoga. However, we went home with so much more than just a yoga experience. Solomon was a great host. We...

I have just finished 3 days here with my girlfriend. We had a brilliant time. The host Solaman took 2 yoga sessions per day on the roof of the house, which over looks on to the amazing jungle beyond. In such a short time Solaman allowed us to progress nicely with our yoga! The food served by Solaman's wife Priya...

Spent 5 days here and had a lovely, peaceful time. Two yoga sessions a day (6:30am/5:30pm) clean airy bedroom and the most delicious, fresh, home cooked food I've had since being in India. I'd go here just for the food. Solomon was great at offering daytime activities, such as visiting a nearby elephant sanctuary and hiking to watch the sunrise....

Fantastic 5days. Solomon is a good teacher and goes beyond what's expected with the sightseeing. Preys is an amazing cook we didn't have one disappointing meal with a great variety, also they have two very charming sons. The location is magical, yoga on the rooftop at dawn and dusk is very special. All in all a 5 star experience which...

This was our second visit to this delightful homestay. Solaman is an amazing yoga teacher and real progress was made over the 13 lessons we had during the week on the roof terrace. We are not 'spring chickens' and at 65 and 70, realised that the body is not quite as mobile as it used to be but the warm conditions...
