i have been staying at many hotels just for sea view or river view but let me share that perhaps no other hotel can beat Taj Malbar in offering perfect view of open sea /port

I stayed on floor 1, it was quiet ok from view point and if with kids, is more manageable as size was slightly bigger as told. I would say go for it. It might be rainy season though and sea is not blue though in any case.
