We stayed at The Francis Home stay in Cochin over the New Year period. Rosie and Francis really create a wonderful atmosphere. We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms which was very well decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location is excellent, close enough to the centre of Cochin to walk in about 15 minutes but in...

We stayed in 3 different homestays during our time in Fort Cochin. This was definitely poor in comparison to the others. It wasn't very clean (the sheets were stained and the bathroom was dirty). This was the most expensive of the three, most likely due to it's central location, but you're better off staying a bit further out as it...

I've stayed two nights at Francis Homestay. It ils vert well located, and it is not very expensive compared to other homestays in the same area. The rooms are pretty clean, which is essential even is they are not very charming. If you plan to visit a lot it is fine.

We spend two night in this homestay, located just minutes away by foot from Kochi's highlights (Santa Cruz). The homestay is clean, it is well taken care of by the landlord. For the price, it met my expectations.

I spent one night in Francis Homestay before taking a plane in Kochi. The place is well located and our host was very helpful with everything we needed such as booking a rickshaw for my ride to the airport. I recommend this place !

Zeena was lovely and warm and welcoming. This was our first time to India and our first homestay. She made us delicious breakfast every morning and the rooms were clean. The air con was very welcome in the heat and the location was brilliant! The bad end was when we came to pay- we booked through youth-hostels.co.uk however she said...

We booked through Agoda as we were staying over the holiday period. We had the room on the first floor at the back (no number on the door). So you can say that on New Years Day we woke up in the kitchen. This room was the old kitchen, the working surfaces are still there, as stuff the small bed...

In The peak season of dec-jean you will pay more, It cost me 1000 rupees for a tiny room with no A/C ( pay extra 300 for ac) but with an effective fan hung from ceiling. The room is cozy with windows to the wonderful yard, that suits for a modest couple with not too many bags and stuff. But...

We spent 2 weeks at Francis Homestay - we were made very welcome by our lovely host, Zeena, who was always on hand to make sure we were happy with everything. It's in a very good location, handy for everything but in a quiet street. Good value for money

- Very neat & clean rooms - with all basic things like almirah, table, chair etc - Located in a calm residential area - The room size is sufficient for 2 ppl. However if you have too much luggage, then it could be a bit small - Wash basin in the bathroom was a bit small. Rest everything was fine....
