We stayed at this hotel in March. We had a beautiful Garden View room, with access to the gardens and a small patio. The food was delicious. The pool area is very welcome for a cool dip after sightseeing, with sunloungers and towels. We would certainly recommend this hotel.

We stayed 2 nights in the Burgher room and one night in the Bastion Suite. Strengths: Very spacious rooms, decorated with a lot of taste, clean and beautiful view on the garden. Very well located at the tip of Fort Cochin peninsula. Next to small streets, bordered with Portuguese mansions. Very good restaurant (dinner and lunch). If you like sweets...

We spent 3 nights at Old Harbour Hotel : our sublime suite has been decorated with the right taste, respecting the past history of Fort Cochin. The restaurant of the hotel is situated in a charming garden with a swimming pull, so relaxing and refreshing after busy days of discovering Fort Cochin! The Chef of the restaurant has surprised us...

I've been to Kochi many times and there is no doubt that Old Harbour is the best place to stay. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you have stepped into a Hemingway book. The decor is both elegant and low key. The staff is very attentive without making you feel suffocated. The garden is well manicured and...

Superb small hotel, friendly helpful staff, delightful rooms, tranquil pool are the most amazing food we didn't eat outside of the hotel. Lovely gardens and good location for shopping and other restaurants if you are there longer. South Indian breakfast delicious dont bother with English breakfast, my only negative comment is that the poolside area needs a clean!

On arrival, warmly greeter by the manager. We were upgraded to a suite and whilst this was welcome the bastion suite has this rather odd room containing just a swing and an armchair... We never used this room so was wasted space. The service was mostly good - odd language issues and the restaurant had ran out of paneer and...

The Old Harbor is located in the old town of Kochi very close to the fort. Beach and the famous Chinese fishing nets are also within a few minutes walk. We had a garden room with an outside shower. The room was very spacious and very nicely decorated. Although the hotel is surrounded by markets and streets the noise level...

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Old Harbour Hotel! The service and kindness of the staff goes above and beyond what you usually might find at a hotel - everyone is so kind and attentive and thoughtful. We were fortunate as well to be able to stay in our room through 4 pm (we had an evening flight out)...

My husband and I stayed here for our first night on a trip to India in late March. The hotel is right by the harbour, a stones throw from the Chinese Fishing Nets. The grounds a beautiful with a leafy garden and shady swimming pool where you can easily slip into relaxation mode. Our room was really nicely decorated and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
At the heart of ancient Fort Cochin, Kerala, a place that exudes history and culture, is the 'Old Harbour Hotel.' A 300 year-old building that has for long been a heritage monument of this town, now reopened as a boutique hotel.
