This is a nice place to enjoy the natural beauty of enchanting backwaters. Away from the busy and noisy world; spending sometime here will help one to recollect many good memories. If you take an evening walk along the water side you will hear the charming voice of nature. Every eco system has its own natural beauty, but this is...

I first visited this wonderful place in 2011 or 2012, and I have stayed there several times since then - more than twice a year. I always found the name "Philipkutty's Farm" quite charming with a homely ring to it. Interestingly, we don’t see much of rigorous farm-work or the bitter smells of farm-animals, but we did get to see...

If you want to experience an exceptionally relaxing break away from it all, then Philipkutty's Farm is the perfect place. I've lost count of the number of times I've stayed at this unforgettable homestay hidden in the backwaters of Vechoor in the state of Kerala. The unique location, the wonderful hospitality, the fresh fish and culinary delights created by Anu...

I have never stayed at a place so lovely and peaceful before. We stayed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was superb and the family performed a lovely concert for us with the baby grand played wonderfully by Philip Kutty Junior aged 17 (he is grade 8 piano) along with two of his school...

Forget about polluting the backwaters with a houseboat and stay here instead, to enjoy the charm, hospitality, wonderful food, quiet (except when the houseboats go past at 4.30 each afternoon) and great locality. And don't miss having a massage at the local Ayurvedic hospital - it is the real deal!

Spent one night here over the Christmas period and wished we had stayed longer. The food, accommodation and attention to detail is superb. Arriving by canoe is fun. Make sure you take the sunset cruise to appreciate the stillness of the backwaters.

We spent a couple of hours at Philipkutty Farm with the owner's providing us with a great cooking demonstration, followed by a tour of the farm and a massive lunch. Anu and Aniamama run a wonderful place and they enjoy being hostess for whatever you want. The cooking demonstration was fun and we are trying to figure out how to...

My first visit was 2011 and I've been there every year since. All stays considered, I've spent a total of about 1 month here - and I hope to be able to spend even more time in the future! The people, location and food come together into an amazingly enjoyable and relaxing experience that never gets old. If you are...

This is a wonderful homestay. Perfect hosts. Beautiful setting. Great food and very nice traditional style accommodation. Particularly impressed with the eco-credentials. They even make gas from the farm waste. Plenty for us to do in our two days here. Highly recommended. Just perfect!

This place added so much to our Kerala experience. A wonderful family - what amazing children!! The location is.magnificent, the staff so helpful and friendly. The food is delicious and a lovely social experience meeting fellow travellers. Only the mosquitoes get a bit much. But this is to be expected in the backwaters
