We stayed at this small guest house ..expensive.an old house restored with all it's charm...nothing much to do, a pool with awesome tropical settings. Rooms have nothing extraordinary..even with menu too repetitive.we were so happy to meet the lady manager..a real asset to this property who explained about the property, surroundings, spice and rubber plantations. Plus points Excellent manager we adore...

Our stay here was a major disappointment and a waste of time. The accommodation can only be described somewhat generously as shabby chic. The electrics and bathroom fittings are archaic. There was no air conditioning in our room and for most of one evening there was no power at all. This is all explained as being an exercise in retaining...

So we stayed 2 nights here and arriving the property looks beautiful and the surrounding area. But that's about it. We had the room downstairs which had a nice big verandah which we used since it had a nice view of the gardens/pool. Pool looked murky and the whole place needs a huge renovation. Like the other guests mentioned, no...

The grounds are beautiful. The structure has class and innate history but the place lacks upkeep. So much in fact that we cut our stay short by a night. One of our rooms had no air conditioning. The toilet in one room was broken. Water ran sporadically and from the shower faucet, it came out rust colored. The pool was...

We spent 2 days at Serenity as part of a 7 day drip through Kerala. It's a small plantation-like house in the middle of the rubber forest. Very pretty when you first pull up. There are only 5 rooms, so if you get fun fellow travelers it’s great - not so great if the other people aren’t friendly. However, this...

Super heritage stay, calm and quiet environment. Highly standard and well maintained buildings with nice arts inside the. Professional and experienced staffs, especially friendly manager Saumya who helped to understand the area and culture. Elephant riding and food served was the best.

Superb boutique hotel, in the middle of nowhere; such a calm atmosphere; what a good service by friendly people; nice pieces of art in the different rooms. Beautiful swimming pool. Only drawback is the internet access limited to the central living room.... but that's not why we are here.

We first visited this hotel a few years ago and had a repeat visit so maybe I was expecting its previous high standard to be maintained. On repeat visits to other hotels you are always welcomed back, but here although the manager was the same person she showed little interest and although they only have very few guests as the...
