Our stay would have been perfect if the flower festival wouldn't have been on in town (almost 24/7). As Claus Garden is positioned at a higher level than the surroundings you can hear everything which goes on in town. My husband and I loved our stay with Omana and Claus the property is magic so many birds butterfly's ,monkeys and giant squirrels in the garden . Rooms are lovely and comfortable . Loved sitting on the back watching the wildlife . Walking distance to the shops and restaurants . Just heaven Thankyou both.

This B&B is fantastic - the rooms are very clean and lovley furnished - the places offers a lot of nice places to hang out ob the veranda or in the little garden- you get even drinking water on the tap. The prices are very moderade for wat you get. An the location is superb. The owners a very friendly...

Thank you to Claus and his wife to make my stay in Kumily one of the best I had in Kerala. Very clean and spacious room with hot water, quiet and great breakfast. I really enjoyed the garden as well, flowers, birds and monkeys sometimes... Kumily is an interesting place to visit and Claus garden is the place to stay...

we had an excellent time in this little heavenly place with very nice hosts, pleasant and available, the room was big an comfortable with a view on the garden; too bad they don't offer meals because Omana seemed to be avery good cook, but at least we can have excellent breakfast!

Our stay at Clause gardens was wonderful. We stayed for 12 nights. We felt peaceful, relaxed and welcomed by clause and Omana. The rooms are spacious, clean and we always had hot water when we wanted it. We had a great stay at claus garden. Mr. Claus & Omna are great hosts. We booked our rooms well in advance without any advance payment and he reserved the rooms for us. Five star breakfasts start the day, lovely big spacious clean rooms, really friendly people who are always ready to answer your questions and help you with onward travel. Great atmosphere and the sort of place you decide to spend an extra few days. We had lovely walks and the highlight for us was to ride an elephant

My girlfriend and I loved this place. Simply put, it felt like a home away from home. It is also nice in that it is on a hill isolated from the traffic noises from town. A beautiful place to stay, and loved the homemade peanut butter, jam and coffee! Recommended without a second's thought.

Black Monkeys are often in the garden.On the rooftop you have a nice view and it is perfect for relaxing and Yoga.Its 10 Min. from the Kumily Busstand by walk, and only 50 m from the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. The Air is clean and the Temperature the whole year between 20 and 28 Degrees C. The 6 rooms are very large with big windows and with large bathrooms. From the Tab comes pure drinking water. You have free WLan Internet connection in 4 rooms and a PC in the common living room. Then there is a free library if you like to read.We serve German Breakfast with real bread (all homemade), cheese, butter, fruits. Eco eggs, Jam and Peanut butter.
