We went here from 26th to 29th October. The property is in two parts on either side of the road. Our stay was at the upper side villas.

The room was very spacious and evem had and extra bed for kids. A very large balcony with french windows gave a nice view of the Dhom Lake. There are windows on three sides of the bed room Bathroom is large with high ceiling. It has a hatch for natural light to come in. Bathroom has plants inside!

Hot water was made available to us at very early hours and toilets, bath was working perfectly.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner had veg and nin veg options. All the food items very delicious.

The staff was extremely courteous and prompt, were were even served Chinese food on demand.

It is connected to the lake and you can take a dip in the lake. It has Gypsy ride and camp fire and such activities.

Few ancient temples and historical place such at Fadanvis wada are neraby which supplement our urge to do small outings.

A very safe and hygeinic place. Its 200% value for money.

Highly recommended for family and couples!!

Recently visited this resort Magnus Caverns Resort (On weekdays)
This place is in Waai near dhom dam.
Surrounded by nature and very peaceful.
Well maintained property with mesmerizing view.

If you don't want to travel much but still looking for a peaceful yet scenic location this is the place and could be a great option for nature lovers!

Found it via social media, contacted Amruta (person who deals with bookings) response was pretty instant.
Payment and booking done online.
Different stay options are available. (Tent , Jodhpur Tent and AC rooms).
Different Indoor and outdoor activities are available.
Food quantity & quality was super and lip-smacking 👌 (Veg & Nonveg)
Property was clean, well maintained and sanitized.

Looking forward to visit this place again and spend some more time here . would definitely recommend ❤

Was looking for a relaxing stay after this hectic work from home and Magnus Caverns was a perfect place to unwind. Beautiful place, friendly staff, yummy food n what else u need!it was a spontaneous, unplanned trip.called on Friday 30/10/20 n was looking for villa stay but it was booked n got camping tent instead.we started at 4 from Pune and were worried on the way if our decision was right as it was our 1st time experience staying in tent n with washrooms outside in this pandemic🙄. But everything was arranged nicely for us. Separate washroom with keys was provided and my husband being tall a spacious tent was arranged. And staff kept asking if we were comfortable..campfire too was arranged for us w tasty starters. We got up to a beautiful view of lake n mountains the next day. We planned to extend our stay as we got villa also n it was worth the spend. Spacious and hygienic rooms and balcony facing lovely view of farms, flowers, lake and mountain.

I would suggest you to not visit this place no matter what. The staff is very unprofessional and unreliable when it comes to handling their customers. Every now and then the receptionist has to dial the owners number for minute clarifications.

We got a deal finalized from them at the spot which was bringing the picture about a 12 hour stay instead of 24, no lunch and breakfast and only inclusive of the dinner plus a bonfire around the camp and from their original package only 300 bucks was deducted. We decided to visit other places around as it was our first visit at Wai. Within 30 minutes we came back to fix what was decided. They said dinner won't be served now and can only offer the jodhpuri tents, we had a deal for the camping tents. We were told tent pitchers are not available as of now, whereas we could see the staff around and even offered we our self will pitch it as we have the experience and one of us owns a trekking firm. They decided to not offer bonfire as well. To be precise we were there at 9pm. Even after not offering dinner the price was still the same. The whole resort was empty. Its as if they don't want to do business willingly. Thankfully we left this place and towards the end of the lake found an amazing place plus the owner and staff were so friendly there. No regrets of leaving this place. The jodhpuri tents are good from out but when you go inside it looks so cheap with a weird smell and has no attached bathrooms. This place started 2 years ago but with such travellers experience and lazy staff it won't last long. You would not want to waste your money for such pricey offers and just a tree house.

Went with our friends and had booked up rooms, down room villas as well as Jodhpuri cottages. So can comment on all of them.
The good part
The up room villas are well set up with ample space . The lake view is fantastic from the up room balconies.
The.down rooms are equally good but doesn't have the same view from the balcony.
Both rooms have the regular but useful toiletries.
Now the not so good part.
All activities including the restaurant is in the main portion of the property, which is quite a walk from the villas. So for even morning tea you have to walk to the restaurant, just like all the meals and the rest of the activities.

Now the Jodhpuri tents are well done up with most of the basic amenities. Close to bonfire, restaurants, the machan and the swings. Rooms are cozy and bed is enough for a couple, no more. The Indian style toilets and wash area are very clean and not very far from the tents, but can be bothering for someone not used to attached toilets .

Food is what didn't find favour from our friends, as the taste was more punjabi than Maharashtrian with very thick gravies.
Dishes are quite limited and if the item is not something you like there is no alternative.
And surprise, there is sweet for vegetarians but not for non vegetarian meals.

It was our first outing after pandemic for us. And also first one for Oscar. Thanks to Facebook groups such as trippers and this one, we finalised this place for our stay. I had shortlisted few more places for stay but looking at the location, surroundings, and vicinity to other resorts or hotels etc. had to take this one as the best of the lot. This resort had lot of open space. It’s bang on the banks of the Dhom backwaters. Has an easy access trek through the property itself. Many of these added Advantages we discovered only after reaching there. Great place for family and especially the dog. This was also the first time that Oscar was mostly unleashed 😀

The location is too scenic. It had a very pleasant weather with just an occasional drizzle of rains. The backwater was muddy due to recent rains and downpours but otherwise you could actually take a dip in it. We stayed in the Villa as well as in the tent. The villa is very spacious with nice balcony view of the lake and mountains. Since they provide snacks along with both the meals you don’t have to venture out at all if you are looking for a staycation. Kids can enjoy the long swings, the machaan, and the khaats in the lawn to doze off. They do have horse riding, ATV and Gypsy drive in the resort. There’s a boat ride available just 5 mins distance from the resort.

The food was good enough. They serve both veg and non veg meals. We loved the parathas, butter chicken, and malvani chicken the most. And of course how can I forget the chapatis they served 😊 Staff was cooperative and friendly too.

I visited this place last weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday. I stayed at Villa which is very well located, you get the nice view of a dam at front and a mountain at back. The rooms are luxurious, equipped with AC and very well maintained. The room was decorated so well and it made the real sense of a birthday. The amazing cake added the extra taste to the celebration. The options to stay in tent is also good. But if you have a toddler better go for villa.

The whole staff was very polite and took care of us very well. Amruta, the onwer is very kind and pays attention to the guests personally. The food was tasty, they also supplied enough milk for my 1.5yrs toddler. The place seems very pleasant and comfortable to my toddler, my 8yrs son and for both of us as well.

The evening time is awesome with some activities like bullock card ride, tree house, archery, dart shoot. You can also have walk at the dam. The sunset time is good. We finished the dinner and ended our day with a bonefire before going to bed.

So overall, good and kids friendly place to visit if you intend to chill and relax. It would have been exciting with the swimming pool which is the only think I and my son missed. Would love to visit again some day.

we (4 families with kids) went to spend some quality time and relax for 2 nights, we got 1 night in the villa and the second night was in the jodhpur tent. It's our second visit here and this time it's much better than the last one because of professionals, the quality and quantity of food were good they accommodated our drinks and kept in the freezer until evening, provided marinated chicken and BBQ set up for the evening on request. All the staff were very courteous and caring, especially Ketaki, who from booking been answering all our questions gave a group discount on the overall package also checked our stay frequently. Sai/Akshada/Saili, cafe staff, they are very caring too and looked to all our requirements without any hesitation. the villa/tents/bathroom all are very well sanitized and were very clean.

Can't go wrong with this property, placed next to the lake and has mountains around the property, just couple of hours drive from Pune.

Finally we decided to visit Magnus Caverns after reading multiple reviews. Staying in Villa down room. Let’s start with the PROS: Amazing Location, Courteous Staff, Huge Clean Rooms, Loads of Greenery, Lots of outdoor and indoor games, tasty food and PET friendly. CONS: when we checked in the staff should have informed us about the activities available, nothing was told to us we stayed here from 29-31. The resort is located on both sides of the main road part. Tents Stay, Dam n Restaurant on one side while Villa, Swimming pool n Grotto on the other side. There was live music on Saturday which we weren’t informed. On Friday n Saturday we were given same buffet dishes for lunch and dinner which was a disappointment. So on the second day we ordered from a la carte. Most of the people who come here I have noticed only stay for one night. They should have different dishes on weekends not repeating it. The team is not in sync when it comes to accounts.. I had to highlight multiple flaws in the final bill, it would be their loss. Not everyone would highlight that.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. I would visit again but would ask the team to change the menu when serving customers staying over 2 days.
