A very modest hotel to stay but to pay a big amount per night is the Killer. The location is good and only walking distance from the main market. The hotel is a very standard regular types with very standard rooms, nothing to write about. The hotel has a restaurant Jaffer Bhai which is quite famous for non vegetarian food but the vegetarian fare was quite below mark. The room given to us was on the backside and we couldn't sleep till late night as the restaurant staff gathers there on the backside and talk loudly late at night. The morning breakfast was again all non vegetarian consisting of boiled eggs and some mutton paaya. They had only bread and butter and cut fruits for vegetarians. On showing my disappointment, they arranged for parathas for us from somewhere outside. The place is good only for meat eaters and vegetarians should steer clear of this place.…

Pros : A) very close to panchgani market so if you are visiting without your own wheels , it contributes to your convenience B) reasonable tariff : I have stayed there doing peak season and otherwise . They have always charged the same .. in vicinity of Rs 2500 C) good Indian restaurant in premise . Three people can have simple lunch for about Rs 1000 or less . Good Mughlai spread D) responsive staff . Fairly quick room service Cons A) Small room . No choice of bigger rooms even on higher tariff. B) restaurant is quite busy most of the time so serving takes time C) they could work of breakfast menu and quality
I visited the place with my wife in June. Online reviews of the place were misleading. We had placed high expectations about the place basis our research. But sadly, we were left befuddled and disappointed. The hotel is situated in one of the serene lanes of Panchgani. The surface look of the hotel is impressing. Check in was smooth. The room was decent but can be worked upon. There was no view at all from our room. The rooms given are generally at a rate without the use of air conditioner and if you wish to use the air conditioner there is an extra charge of Rs 600 per night. However, the weather was pleasant at the time of our visit and hence AC was not required. The blanket was small for two people and appeared old. The wifi was not working and could not be repaired despite repeated complaints. The television was not working and the plug was uncovered. The curtains besides being unattractive were merely able to cover the windows. The breakfast was cold and un-hygienically laid down. The staff appeared disinterested and unprofessional. Overall, a very average stay.…
During our 2 days visit made a point to have lunch at Zafferbhai Rest near Brickland resort panchgani with family including brother and sister with their kids .. nice food and great location to have fun
Could have been better. I visited around Christmas. Hotel was ordinary though location is good. Mahabaleshwar is a better place to stay then. Even breakfast here is not tht gr8. Search s better place.
We checked in at around 12 30 and the rooms were ready as we had made informed them in prior about the time of arrival. The rooms were clean and neat, however neither the front facing rooms nor the rooms with a connecting door between them were given to us as the management told us that they were already occupied. The resort does not has any activity besides a small park with swing, slides and other activities for the kids. There is no swimming pool, health club or any activity or game centre. The resort is located near the Panchgani market which is a plus point, however to travel again and again to Mahabaleshwar is a pain. There is an adjoining area, belonging to the resort for hookah, but which was also closed. The restaurant serves good food and is open till 12 A.M, however even if you take room with breakfast there is no large breakfast spread as it is there in other resorts. The rooms given are generally at a rate without the use of air conditioner and if you wish to use the air conditioner there is an extra charge of Rs 580 per night. All you have to do is call for the remote from the reception, however the climate itself is good enough, and hence the use of air conditioner is not required. It's only good for people who don't want to stay in the resort and do activities outside the resort or stay the entire day outside and return at only night. The hotel requires an upgrade in terms of quality…
We stayed over here for a night. Nice and spacious rooms and a clean washroom. Breakfast buffet was included in the room rate. The breakfast was good, but service was bad. Asked for an omelet, but they made us wait 45 mins before we got it. When we ordered for another omelet, they never brought order even after we followed up for it multiple times! We asked for fresh towels and soap bars at the reception and the person there said that he will send it across immediately. We called after half an hour and reminded that the soap and towels weren't sent yet. Even after this, we didn't receive towels/soap when we checked out after an hour. Upon complaining about the above mentioned incidents at the reception at check out, they apologized half heartedly. By the time the blame game had already started amongst them and as such nobody took any responsibility for these issues.…
The hotelin managed/owned by one of the partners of famous Delhi Durbar group. Situated in a quiet area of Panchgani but within easy walking distance of the market area and downtown. The rooms are air-conditioned and clean. The service is courteous. Breakfast is included in the price, that includes eggs (fried, omlette or the Indian variant 'burji') and a plate of fruit. The in-house restaurant serves excellent food with mughlai, chinese and limited italian dishes.
Location is good as it is just walkable distance from the main road and surrounded by greenery. Its a budget hotel with very average services and room quality. Rooms are not sound proof as you could listen noises of outside of your room. Room service needs serious improvement as they didn't pick up phone many times during night and early morning. Complementary breakfast had very few options and also was too oil with very poor presentation. Restaurant food is good and can be definitely tried even someone is not staying in the hotel.
