Panchgani founded by a British named John Chesson in 1860s who was accompanied by Mr Rustomji Dubash, discovered an unnamed area that not only has 5 villages but was also surrounded by 5 hills. Hence the name Panchgani. Since it's a hill stations the tempratures here are very pleasing all round the year and making it a great hill stations getaway. It is located 285 km from Mumbai, 100 km from Pune and 18 km from Mahableshwar. The resort is located close to site seeings locations such as Sydney Point, Table Land, Parsi Point, Devil's Kitchen and Mapro Garden. The resort is spread over 7 acres of land with all views having the valley view. The restaurant over-looks the swimming pool which is a heighten structure overviewing the valley.

The photos on numerous booking portals and even their own websites are all quite outdated. The amenities stated are inadequate at Elysium Resort Panchgani. Pros: A quiet location with spacious accommodations. Cons: Very highly priced for the services they offered. They charged us 3000/- per night for a couple. The elegant rooms were so smelly and very very dirty. The washrooms had no hot water also all of the faucets and showers were damaged. A nightmare during our stay in October 2022 Diwali. The resort was not at all maintained, color on wall was so damp also the sofa and bed we all having stains on it. Electric switch and plugs were not functioning also there was no TV in the rooms, after we asked them for fix a TV they were not recharged and not working. The rooms were not clean after the use of previous customers. There were used cigarette buds in the room and even food on the floor which was dried and rotten. The staff was not cooperative at all. It is an ancient property, and the owner does not care to maintain it. The staff is very very casual. Food quality is so so. Overall, we were cheated. We reserved a stay at this resort by contacting the number shown on the Elysium Panchgani website. They very smartly ask you to transfer the full payment and them when you show them the shabby rooms they simply tell you that no refund will be given you may leave the resort if you wish to do so.…

Beware, Photos you are seeing on there online portal are either old or fake or not necessarily of Panchgani. Amenities mentioned are just cheating. It was horrible experience with Elisium hotel Pachgani, We stayed there 8-10 May 2022 with horrific experience, not at all maintained, water taps are damaged and broken, hot water problem, color on wall is damaged, electric switch and plugs are broken, After checkin, we found two cigarate packets and one rotten food packet in the drawer in the room which we alloted for kids, thank god they didn't try it out of curiosity. staff is not educated and not professional, looks like they are daily wages people. no wifi,, While booking veg /nonveg was mentioned, but on asking they denied and said, contact your agent.. after complaining agent with what was promised and what are actual services, they served nonveg, most of us didn't ate it as it was Monday. TV is there in room, but not working, seems they have not recharged. We were cheated for each and every amenities mentioned while booking. It is very very old property and owner dont even bother to maintain it. staff is very very casual. Food quality is also not up to the mark. Overall, we were cheated and trapped.…

Big spacious rooms. Very courteous staff. Ms. Vaishali was very cooperative. Excellent vegetarian food. The location is good but old property. The bathrooms are clean but need to be maintained. Overall a pleasant stay.

Hi everyone. Would like to share my review for this property. Pro's - The property is quite big. The rooms are also very spacious. The staff is very helpful, polite. Con's - when we visited the hotel (24th Jan to 26th jan - 2020) there was road work going on, due to which we couldn't take our cars right up-to the hotel. The slope that leads to the hotel has a Very inclined slope. But in this case the staff helped us by sending their maruti van for the pick up. But it was still very inconvenient as whenever we had to go out or comeback we had to wait for the van.. Most important - the hotel has big big staircases which are really difficult to Use. Plus there's no lift Which makes the hotel unfriendly for senior citizens and handicapped people.. Also, though the property is so huge it's not at all maintained. It's turned too old and the owners haven't refurnished it for too long. That's why we can see stains of the furniture, furnishings, blankets and even the towels had holes. We stayed in elegant rooms. Room no 402 - 407. The bathrooms also seemed to be weared out completely. The bathrooms dont even have a shower. Plus they have solar heaters and no Geyser or boiler at least in these rooms. So don't get hot water at all the times. I guess if they can refurnish the rooms, then it can be one of the top places in panchgani. But till then if anyone is looking out for a luxurious stay then as of now this place can definitely be given a miss.. …

Nice location.with great view from room. Valley view sitout is only for lower floor rooms, Clean room. Please improve restaurant. Cooperative staff no hassle for getting room at reception. Overall small property .

I visited this resort with family on 28 and 29 sept 2019, this is just ok type of resort.Rooms are bigger but lot of grass and insects around, so you cannot keep the balcony open.There is children play area but not accessible due to poor maintenance.only TT and carem in indoor sports nothing else.Swimming pool is there but not sure where are changing rooms.One thing I like is food and service, decent food and fast service.You can rome around Panchgani/Mahabaleshwar then come at night to just sleep then ,this resort works out best.

The resort has one of the most spectacular views. The food is simply delicious. The staff is humble and nice. They have little activities in the evening which makes it lively. The have various activities within the resort for one to enjoy themselves. Loved the place. Good option!!!
